I have to wonder how much overlap really exists between Metal Slug fans and tactical game fans. I love Metal Slug, but have a negative interest in this game.

I mean that high level of animation and sprites I don't mean art style, a metal slug game with next gen 2d sprites would be so sick

Infact the thumbnail for the video above is exactly what a modern metal slug should look like it can still be 2d

The sprites in Metal Slug Tactics are already high level sprites like this is what most people likw to see. Recently, the Shadow of the Ninja remake had some of the best ever spritewoek too

It's crazy this game is finally coming out tonight ...i remember this was revealed like almost 2 years ago and then must have been delayed indefinitely because for the longest time there were no mentions or even updates as to when it was actually coming out.

The visuals are what I found so appealing I hope it's a good tactics game ...it's Rogue lite ..I'm okay with that
