Meteos Delayed for Nintendo DS

That's cool, that's sooner than I expected anyway.

This isn't the US released they're talking about is it? When is that slated for? anyone know?

Wait wha, I always thought it was in March, I guess the GameScience date was wrong (March 24th). Doesn't change anything for me though, it just feels as if it's coming sooner. :P

I'm curious... Anyone know how this game really plays? I checked a few topics, but other than 'It rocks' and 'Great game!' I'm missing some really good impressions. Can they be found anywhere by now? I'm really interested, hence my avatar, and the scans only encouraged me to find as much info as possible....

This is so mine.

Does anyone know what the music's like? I'm guessing it's not as good as Rez/Lunines?

It is more Smash Bros. music than Rez/Lumines music. However, the composer for Lumines is also the composer for most of the music in Meteos. Mizuguchi told me as much.

Sweeeeeeeet boxart. Man, that's awesome. Hopefully Play-Asia will put this as their Weekly Special when it comes out. I doubt it, though. :-/

this will be my first DS import. Cant wait.

One question, if this is released on the 10th, when can we expect it to get to import shops say in Los Angeles? (since I am only staying there till the 14th)

There's a two page article on Meteos in Famitsu this week (I would scan it but the scanner at work is busy now)... it is looking so much better than when I played it at the Touch!DS event. Every planet has a really well-drawn background. There also seems to be a lot of content. When you play with other players using wireless, their profiles are stored on your copy of the game too. That looks quite neat. I really hope this gets enough marketing to make people aware of it.

Yeeesh, what's with the bumping of old threads? I was close to reporting this on GS when I looked at the date of the topic. :lol

Yup, you can see the various backgrounds on the website:

So far, only 21 characters/aliens have been revealed, but I'm guessing there will be at least 3 more.

I have to say, I'm amazed at how much content they have on the website - I keep forgetting to check it for updates though :lol

This selection of images to tell the story of Star Trip is pretty crazy:

And sorry for bumping the thread so much... we need an official Meteos thread, I guess.
