I think this sounds pretty good actually, I'm not sure what all the bitching is about. I could care less if Samus is a pinball, a bowling ball, a basketball, etc., , as long as the game is damn good. Actually, they should just go all out and include every single sport/hobby that includes a round ball and make Samus into it. :lol

The only thing wrong with FnordChan's post is that Baby Pac-Man was the awesomest shit ever.

It's been a while since I've played Baby Pac-Man, but I distinctly remember that I wanted it to make up it's mind to be one or the other, and that I'd be just as happy playing plain ol' pinball.

Well i know you're joking but pinball lends itself to more 'interactive' environments (sonic spinball comes to mind) whereas just using samus as a ball would be a waste (though a funny easter egg in tennis or something).

Yeah, so much outrage over two associated words. We haven't even seen screens or videos and people are ready to lynch somebody. Has this even been confirmed as real yet?

The notion is campy as hell, but I can really only get upset if the execution ends up bad and the game itself completely uninteresting, but that's about it. As I think about it, there's all sorts of directions this game could go based on the Metroid universe.

I'm already down for Odama whenever that comes out, after RTS pinball is Metroid Pinball really that much of an insane stretch?

I dunno, I've never played either myself. People I trust though have said PotD was crap which Sonic Pinball Party was pretty good.
