There's no excuse for that. GameCube CAN do better visuals. They don't need to keep the same shit visuals for the THIRD game, do they? The first was great, visually impressive, but the second w/o any upgrades showed its age too quickly.

The second game did have a graphical upgrade, but not a very noticeable one to most people's eyes. If you've played them as much as I have, you notice it.

I called it before that MP3 would be a GameCube title, which is exactly what this looks like to me. Did Nintendo specifically say it was a RVN title? (I think it was aforementioned that it was shown during the RVN segment, not sure though.) I know it'll be awesome, but I was really kind of hoping it would be on RVN. Having it on GC seems sort of sad.

Also, based on the adjective you used to describe the visuals, I think you need to play MP and MP2 again (or at all, if you haven't).

Looks to me like the exact Samus model from Echoes. Notice the visor shape, less bulkier appearance, and the metal exoskeleton beneath the armor.

The screen quality is terrible. In fact, it looked more to me like a generic cutscene from MP2. Nowhere near 2-3 times as powerful as GC

It looks better than the previous two, but nowhere near good enough to be considered next-gen. I'm hoping that's either:

A.) For the Gamecube
or
B.) Just not indicative of the Rev's power

If that's what we can expect from the Revolution, they should just start marketing the network adapter for the Cube more heavily and come out with the SD adapter.

Ya got me, I just had a hunch they would try to wrap up the Prime trilogy (if it is indeed a trilogy) on GC. I may be wrong, I hope I am, but if that's RVN footage, I'll buy you a ham sandwich. Echoes' sales were weak, this one will be even weaker if it comes out for GC.

Nintendo has stated on several occasions that they would continue support for GC. Maybe that would be one way. I know, how can we believe anything they say, etc. I'm just guessing, like everybody else.
