KINECT will now be the lead controller for all first party games. Old and busted controller will be supported with the purchase of the hardcore DLC pack. Only available to gold subscribers.
 
15 minutes of COD, 15 minutes of Halo, 15 minutes of Gears, 30 minutes of Kinect, 15 minutes on the new Dashboard update aka more social shit and ads.

Good question.....where can people outside the US stream the conferences.
Live if at all possible.

I know a couple places doing Liveblogs, but id rather just watch the madness unfold.

Almost every major website shows a livestream.. is this ur first E3?
 
I think they'll start positioning 360 as a cheap home entertainment option ready for durango or 8 or 720 or whatever.

So lots of dashboard stuff, I'm going out on a limb and going for full, including Flash, IE. Improved FB integration, more media stuff and lots of link-up with WP8 and Win8, then a price-drop and a proper launch of contract option.

On the games front, probably the same stuff that's stopped me buying a 360 or an Xbox: generic FPS/Halo/Gears/Generic Racer...yawn.

I heard if you watch the conference on the 360 with their app I installed there is an 8 second delay?...is that right?

If they are advertising that question then they better damn well follow up on it if it doesn't get announced.
 
I had actually completely forgotten about the possibility of a new X-Box, my hype level rose quite a bit after realizing it, but how possible do you think it is? I guess it can either be a crappy show with the focus on Kinect or a great show where they'll announce the next home console, or a combination of both I guess but since a new home console is a pretty big wouldn't the concentrate on that one entirely? I don't remember exactly how the unveiling of new consoles happens..
 
The least exciting of all the conferences simply because the last two have been so Kinect focused. I expect the same format. Show big mutiplatform games with month exclusive DLC, then on to exclusives (Halo, Gears of War, Forza), and finish it with Kinect shit.
 
Out of what we know I'm looking forward to the Twisted Pixel game. Not sure what to expect that I'd be interested in.
 
Just to make sure for future reference, do all pre-show press conferences (Nintendo, Sony, MS, EA, Ubi) require separate invites, or are they open to anyone with media passes?

I checked the OP, and I apologize for being the guy who asks this, but is there any way to stream this on iOS?
 
G4 and Spike both have the streams online, I believe.

I am going to watch G4's stream on PC, and have Spike's on TV... whichever looks better is the one I'll stick with.

Is it wrong I took the week off work?

I think 2010 was worse because I had such high expectations for Natal and it ended up being shit. By 2011 I knew what I was getting.

I'm predicting: the announcement that their new 'woodstock' all-you-can-eat music service will be tied into Live Gold - maybe even a movie service with it, new PC/Phone announcements to go with the launch of Win 8 and their mantra of the 'Xbox platform across all screens,' and a glimpse at next gen - no hardware or announcements, but a 'real-time' demo.

As someone who's owned all the Halo games, and enjoyed them, but never TRULY been a fan... why should I be more excited for Halo 4 than any of the others?

I feel like I'm missing something. Not that it'll be shit, or not that I'm expecting it to be, but I just don't understand why I should be so excited?
