Microsoft is reportedly mandating that every single employee at King (Candy Crush) has to use AI on a daily basis

Making someone use something by force.... Not because it's helpful to the team but because their stock needs AI to succeed. Yeah we're in a massive bubble.

If AI was so useful for this sector, people would be using it by choice. Good/beneficial products don't need coercion.

And we have fake videos like this flooding the internet

The amount of fake content inundating social media could be so prevalent it could make closed forums like GAF have massive comeback lol.

BOOM!!!!!

EVERYBODY READ Unknown? Unknown? SECTION IN BOLD! Microsoft are acting like hoes here. This is NOT how you use AI in the creative spaces of the economy.

Is there anything wrong with that?

"Company mandating that reports be written on a computer using Word Perfect instead of on a typewriter"

This isn't always true cause you always have those hard asses who refuse to change their ways but yea overall I agree. Hell everyone I know now uses AI to some extent but for simple shit like cleaning up a statement\response in an email or resume.

It's more often true than not though and in the scenario about cleaning up emails, it is useful, but learning proper grammer is even more useful so its use case is still less valuable than other avenues. It does have its uses, but is it several trillions of dollars useful? I don't think so.

Sounds like employees are basically being turned into slower versions of a 5090 to train the A.I. It sucks and is dehumanising, but if it was me, I'd be over the moon being worth the price of a 5090, maybe even flattered.

Seriously though, knowing you are being told to train your replacement is fucked. Especially the way Microsoft talks about A. I and their employees e.g the recent layoffs being told to use A. I to help them deal with it. With all the shit media training these companies have, they still don't know how to act human.

NOthing wrong with it. If people can be replaced with machines then so be it.

I don't really believe this story as I doubt the AI stuff is ready for prime time for level design. But I don't know all and I don't even know candy crush and how simple or not simple the 'levels' are. If it's a simple puzzle game like Dr Mario or Tetris etc that I think it is then ...I mean you could have a machine churn lots of that crap no?
