I think he is having a meltdown. I mean Microsoft sells a ton of products to people and businesses in small towns. This guy is screwed.
One is offensive and elitist. The other is Kamiya. I think I know which one I can handle.
You really are a piece of work. Diablo 3 offline announced on PS4 wasn't enough. So after announcing no always online to consumers, board members and your 3rd party teams they will now announce at a later date that they lied.

Nevermind that maybe stuff like this is EXACTLY why we're becoming anti-MS. I was for them at the start of the generation, especially with the hubris Sony developed, but as Sony stepped their game up Microsoft started slipping up more, and if this is how they want to handle their next console then it goes from "I don't really like them but so long as I have other choices who cares" to "I hope Nintendo and Sony curbstomp their next console out of the market."

It's cool, I don't think think he meant anything by it. Disparaging comments about unknown places are just kind of a mating call for his particular species of douche. The louder and more obnoxious it is, the more potiential mates hear the call. It's just nature in action.
But it's not. And I doubt "GAF" would be defending it. All we have to go on right now is information sources give to media outlets. Expect a reaction to that information.

My biggest problem with online only is that in the future when their servers are shut down, then the console and all of it's games will become an expensive paper weight. I suppose there are some ways around that though..
Normally I get every console, but if this is online only, then I'll have to rethink picking it up. This isn't something that I want to help encourage.

In my case my Internet connection is shitty and I live with my parents, so I cannot change or improve it. My connection goes down for a few seconds each half an hour, so if Microsoft implemented that I would be playing for a while and then my console would shut down because the connection is down and it would ruin my experience. If they re gonna do this fuck them and I hope no one buys their shitty console here (though if they do that people wouldn't really buy the conse because playing gears and halo online is their main use for te console).

Indeed. There's a reason why MANY companies have social media directors (hell, I work at a community college and we have one) because bad PR spreads incredibly fast these days and is very damaging.
