Wow that guy on twitter is a complete cock sucker. Also Microsoft might as well hang themselves if they're actually going to make their next console online only. :\
Bye Junior.

Do you actually not sign into Xbox Live when you are playing single player games because that seems very weird to me.
I love single player games, but I don't play them when I'm offline because I don't know which of my consoles I last played them on. You can overwrite your game saves when you're relying on cloud syncing. You also risk achievements not syncing. Also some XBLA games will not let you play unless you are online. It's not worth the hassle. If the Internet is out the Xbox is a DVD player.
David Jaffe confirmed to be working on a Durango online only exclusive?
The honest answer for me? Low prices, reliable offline mode and the ability to play my game on any steam-compatible device.
If MS can pull the above things off then maybe I can reconsider.
However, we lack info right now and I don't see console game prices hitting steam levels.
It's really bad time to make a joke like thisJust saying man, emotions are riding high at the moment on the Internet. Even if the intent was to joke... The Internet can eat you alive.
I don't hope anyone loses their job, but man he's going to have to come up with something to spin this positively to the higher ups.
The only logical conclusion to 720 always being online is that the servers will be needed to help out with graphics and sound processing. Seems like this was talked about sometime in 2012. Does anyone remember what article I am referring too?

So, it's all about you. Nobody, but you. Everyone should follow your example. Okay. At least you admit it.
Too late, Adam.
To state again, the only problem I have with the "just trolling" argument was Adam's first few tweets that weren't directed at anyone. We're still unclear if any of the NeXbox being always-online is true or not -_-
Sony is also bank on online features. There is a reason a share button is there.
If he knows something and is making those comments I'm out on Nextbox and am finally going to let my 6 year Live subscription lapse in May. What arrogance.
This. While everyone is up in arms about "always-online". Almost every feature Sony announced at the PS Meeting that was new and awesome, requires you to be online.
Gaikai, Ustream, share to Facebook, play while you download and etc.
Yes, but those are optional.This. While everyone is up in arms about "always-online". Almost every feature Sony announced at the PS Meeting that was new and awesome, requires you to be online.

Nah I said it is better for the industry and game design to build for social always on gaming. Getting more people to connect their game systems to the Internet by making it a requirement is good for the game industry and for people who like playing online. You can accomplish a lot more with the functionality of a device if you require an online connection. If you allow people to use the thing offline then you have to always design around those people. As I said if they have some good ideas of how to use this always on connection then it's worth it, if it is for nothing other than DRM then it is terrible obviously.

I doubt he'll lose his job over this, but he sure as shit is going to get yelled at and probably fined.

And yet the most important feature, playing video games...you don't need online for that.This. While everyone is up in arms about "always-online". Almost every feature Sony announced at the PS Meeting that was new and awesome, requires you to be online.

Knowing Adam, he was probably fucking around with M.

did this come out of a folder of shareholder papers or what
Well, he believes that Bioshock is a indie title...
I talking about Adam,he should not make a joke like this at this moment. You mean it's okay to make Twitter comments that is only spreading the flames of rumored negativity surrounding the rumored Xbox? That wasn't a personal message to Jaffe. That was a message to Adam. I'm sure he has surely experienced the hubris of his comment and is adjusting accordingly.
The cost to play a game of CoD on Day 1 . 720 vs PS4
720:
Internet $60
Xbox Live $60
CoD $60
PS4:
CoD $60
Beautiful.
So the PS4 doesn't need internet?

Lol, as if.
All the journalists will be dressed in recycled Kinect ponchos, given free systems and prepped with arguments about how to insult gamers who don't like the steps MS are taking.

Yet none of those make me stop playing my games when the net is down. Veto.
You aren't required to be online to play a game on the PS4.

Not sure why people are even still responding to him.Well, he believes that Bioshock is a indie title...

Sony's approach allows the user to opt-in while still enabling them to make use of the system they bought even if they don't, while the approach MS is rumored to be taking forces the user to opt-out disabling access to pretty much everything in the process, for no good reason.Social is extremely important to selling games, it isn't an accident that Sony is putting a share button on their controller. Half the PS4 conference was about how important social and sharing is. Well most of those features Sony talked about are worthless if they don't convince their customers to connect their console to the Internet frequently.
Please be excited for always online.

He could get fired, and in an "always-online" world you should be careful what you tweet.
