Spike will air the Microsoft E3 conference on television but for the 1st time you can watch the conference on your 360. The theme for the conference is "Entertainment Evolved". I guess you can expect a lot of non game announcements.

Awesome.They should try a dry run before hand. Stress test the servers. I'm also hoping for a good show then, pretty sure they don't want to expose a bad showing to a wider audience than "core" gamers.

I've actually been kicking around the idea of getting rid of my cable recently, so I guess I might actually use this if I do.

I'm guessing the stream will be buggy, unreliable, and may lag the TV feed though, important for those fast moving online threads where you need to comment on the news fast (lulz)!

Wont there just be some internet live streams of it though? Say, IGN?

Didn't epic said they would show unreal engine 4.0 on E3 if none of the platform holders will.

Yeah, it's baffled me why they've never done this. E3 may be aimed at enthusiasts and the press, but the tone of the conferences tends to be "for the masses".

It is pretty cool, but really doesn't mean anything to the bulk of their customer base in north america. I'll be at work so I'll still need to watch some jenk gametrailers feed.

EDIT: and even if I were at home, I'm guessing the feed will be a bit delayed and possibily choppy if a significant number of people are watching. That last UFC event was straight up terrible because of how many people were trying to watch.

Yup. You could then download the entire conference on the PSN in three segments.
