Thanks to those who have added me so far (@ChiragMaher). I'm enjoying the app so far, it's strangely addictive at times too. Not had any crashed, it's smooth, looks nice and the animations are not too bad. Definitely has that Nintendo feel to it. Still need to check out the shop!

I just noticed that you can turn on a Power Saving mode in the settings, which limits the game's fps to 30, but at least it's playable without constant reloading on weaker devices.

I bet I could use the app on my smartphone if I could somehow turn this setting on before I even launch the game.

It's not really a game. When you approach it more like a fun social network which encourages conversation by giving you bonuses in a game-like way.
It's fun for that but there really isn't much more to it (which is fine I think, it's still fun!).

I don't think it's possible to save a Miifoto with transparencies. Best bet would be to use a background that would be easy to edit out with photoshop or something.
