Anyone that enjoys action rogue-lites will really like this I think. Mixes action RPG combat and depth when it comes to spells and skills really well. WASD, also click to move, and controller. Ultra fast paced, especially if you loop.

Just feel like this needs a semi proper OT, Please lock my other thread from a few months ago.

It's a roguelike. GAF is far from the enthusiast board it once was and more often time than not people have no clue about quality games outside the usual AAA-slop.

Anyway, I love that the devs are so on top of things with patches and the like. They've already improved/reverted some of the changes they made (for the worse) compared to the demo so even though I couldn't get my progress to carry over I'm happy to pick it up again from scratch without a ridiculous grind or whatever.

Wasd all day. I also just tried with a controller and it's pretty great.

Hopefully they put out some free content in the future. Not sure what the roadmap looks like haven't looked to even see if there is one.

Love the devs nod to french politics by making the Bismuth character a lying thieving dwarf, blind to his own corruption and filth.
Bismuth was the name under which former french president Nicolas Sarkozy opened a secret phone line to try and corrupt a high ranking judge into giving him infos about other affairs he was going to trial for.

WASD...tired mouse move a few times it was gross.

Wasd all day. I also just tried with a controller and it's pretty great.

Damn it! I have been struggling to get any controller to work. Did you have to enable anything in options for this to work?

This was fixed in a patch over the weekend that I missed. I did like using the controller, felt great as Yubar!

I never even really noticed. I played Mist a lot in the demo and she definitely looks like a woman. Vesper looks human too. Yubar and especially Nachia look like world of warcraft's Draenei. Bismuth looks like an anime girl. I dunno, I don't see it, besides Lacerta and Aurena.

DOTA and LOL exist...if they don't like those games they probably wouldn't like this one.

That being said...I didn't care for any iteration of DOTA and was never a huge League Player....I fing love this game. Its fast paced, skill oriented, complete chaos in multiplayer, and has a very lost cost of entry.

This tore me way from POE2 endgame and I cannot stop playing it...just...one...more...run!

In that case just play Ravenswatch. Another fantastic roguelite co-op romp that plays great with a controller. Put in about 130 hours myself so far and very much looking forward to this month's major update.

Can already tell this game will have huge build potential what with the insane amount of combinations possible as far as abilities (memories) are concerned and the enhancements (essences). Let alone the individual character loadouts. I am excite.

I think you can make a build around any ability. In the demo I beat the loop just pumping points into I think it's called Beam of Light. It's a heal + dmg beam. Dominated. Really great game and I'll probably go for all achievements since they're tied to unlocking stuff.

Apparently game has sold around 400k, pretty good! (don't agree with 'moba-like')
