Okay so I sideloaded the APK on to my android phone and I'm playing it now but I have a couple questions.

1. I haven't linked my Nintendo Account, but when I do will it overwrite my Mii? I like the one I made from scratch on Miitomo better than the one i have now.

2. I keep reading I'll lose progress and just to treat it as a 'trial' is this still true? or do I have to download it from the Play Store when it actually releases in the US.

1.) I don't think you'll have to start over. Just make sure you like it to MyNintendo once the app launches worldwide!

2.) it's possible that the app store just updates the app you sideloaded. It happens to me before, but that was a different app, so I won't promise anything.

Hm. Yeah I'm using SwiftKey and it's doing it for me. Persists when I change keyboards, even.

It's a bit fiddly, but it seems if you move your finger while it's on the Mii, you move the Mii, but if you move your finger when it's not on the Mii then you rotate it instead.

Tried that but it doesn't work for me, it just moves around, it's very weird, when there are 2 miis it works even if I touch them directly, and even there I don't know exactly how I am doing it, I select a mii and it moves, I touch it again and it rotates and then touch the same mii again and the other mii gets selected, and sometimes that won't work

I also have the all caps problem

Please tell me if my Mii sounds weird or funny, considering switching the language to English.
Might change my Mii a bit since some expressions definitely looks weird with that face.
Edit : quickly switched to English and it sounds alright, not going to change :3

Settings -> Lauguage & input -> Google Keyboard -> Preferences -> Auto-capitalization

yeah it some of the stuff seems really hard to get, almost impossible

This fixed it for me, it should be on the op

Android, used VPN, figured it'd be safe to update. Didn't link anything because I'm not in Japan, but unlike any other game I got that way, apparently a patch is enough to wipe the whole thing clean, so don't update anything until you linked your Nintendo account to it. :\

Now that I'm restarting, an "invite all" or at least a checklist for who to send a request to would be nice, because it's going to take bloody forever to get 50 friend requests out again.

EDIT: Okay, added everyone again. Only real loss I'm mourning is that I was pretty much the Style Empress, had super cute socks and a swell picture with my Mii swooning all over James Marsden but I can get over it.

I'm on iOS 9.2.1, iPad 4, and the game is running perfectly.
Edit : wonder how you get popularity pts, I was at 5 without any heart of comments, got 2 hearts and still 5 pts.
Edit 2 : shared a pic on Twitter, maybe this has something to do with it.

and as far as i know the update fixes it by just not showing it at all

Not sure why updating would make you lose your data, that sounds like it'll be a serious problem if a required update comes out.
