Go onto Miitomo, then Menu, then Other, then Notifications, Splatoon. You'll see a Nintendo link highlighted in blue. For me it said 'Nintendo of Europe'. Press on it and it should open a pre-made Nintendo tweet in your Twitter app. Retweet that.

I was lucky and somehow managed to get a suit, hat, and two crowns, with only 5 tickets

a far cry from the ninja board which quickly sapped my entire ticket stash :(
 
Am I the only one who is having trouble getting people to comment on my answers? I have 572 friends but rarely get the bonus Miitomo points.

Does anyone have any tips?

How many of those friends do you actually know, and how many of them also have an enormous amount of friends? With a friends list that big it seems like you and all your friends are probably in such massively diluted pools of people who barely know each other, that yeah, it's probably gonna be hard to get anyone to even see your answers, let alone be engaged/interested enough to interact with them.

Really the best thing is to have a small pool of friends who all know each other use it together.

That's a great point. Is there any particular way of knowing which friends are still active? I guess there has been a huge drop off!


As for creating another account I hadn't really thought of that but it feels a little bit cheaty! Maybe I'll get my wife to join!

Not that easily, but you can just go to the friends list and visit people's rooms to see who hasn't answered questions recently. I did that last week and it helped clear out some of the inactive folks.

I never friended that many people to begin with though so it wasn't a huge ordeal.
 
ugh. didn't know splatoon was being done via drop, mynintendo coins, and the shop. This is going to be difficult to get them all. Urge to spend money rising (but will hold out!!!)

Actually it's quite convenient. With my second account I get enough points each month to buy the 3DS home themes (provided we'll get 2 per month).

An alt has let me earn all my coins for the day in a matter of minutes
 
I am perhaps not using this every day but for sure a bunch of times a week to get my coin balance up. So @toythatkills should be reasonably reliable in the immediate future.
 
So I have 91 friends, and I thought that Miitomo was broken because I never got any new answers to read anymore in the Recent tab. I went to the friendlist to look for the "new answer" red dot implicator, but there was nothing. 91 people, and everyone have gotten bored with Miitomo. :v

I don't blame them. It was fun at first, but it lack so many features and have thrown away a lot of potential. It's not a bad app, it's just boring from lack of things to do. At least I check every day by habit, and I feel like the shop only have boring clothes. lol
 
I always try to go heart and comment on people who heart and comment my answers but the limit of 3 answers gets in the way of that. I don't have enough candy to keep paying for more answers from a person.

I probably have to prune my list of inactive people and people who have 200 friends but the loading times makes that annoying to do.

I only have about 25 friends though.
 
I'm getting repeats almost daily now. It always asks what I had for dinner and I never eat dinner so I just keep saying I went to be around noon-2pm.
 
Yeah this app seems dead. My niece is always a good indicator of what is in and she said her and her friends just completely stopped as it made absolutely no sense using this with FB, Instagram, etc
 
Myself and my friends would have all dropped it by now were it not for the My Nintendo coins you can get. At this point we just try to out-gag each other with answers and replies.
 
I submitted the form and updated my twitter for the first time in 2 years.

Who is still active in here on it? Most people I know made a miitomo and dropped it soon after whereas I'm on day 25 in a row of being on this thing >.>

(also, if you guys find a random new follower on your twitter, its me ~)
 
I only stuck with real life friends + people I know well online and while I'm not using the app everyday, I still check in from time to time, answer a couple of questions and listen to some friends' answers. Most of my friends seem to have stopped using it entirely but there's still a few people left with whom I interact with regularly. And it sounds cheesy but I really am getting to know everyone better. One guy said he was tired from work and I realized I didn't even know what kind of work he does. So now we're talking about that.

I realize I'm in the minority though :P

Is 20 really the max? Seems like a weird low number to stop on for longevity.
 
Well that sucks. Daily Bonuses don't seem to repeat and start all over again. Yesterday was my 25th day and got 2,000 coins as a daily bonus. But today...nothing.
 
I'm still using it but I find the most fun is to be had with people I know reasonably well so I've stuck to particular GAF communities. Not really going to be adding total randoms.
