Miitomo |OT| A new way of COMMUnication

Tried the Starlight Drop game and got the pendant. Even zoomed in, I can barely even see the thing, and there's three kinds you can get.

Gents. Somebody hit me.

Plus, we're getting additional tickets for the next 7 days. That's 10 tickets until the Zelda pachinkos expire. YUSSSS!

Wow, I didn't even notice they took candy out of the daily bonuses. Awesome, now just get it out of the drop machines too.

I've had this on my phone for a couple months but have only used it for an hour total maybe. I'm thinking of deleting it and reclaiming the 600MB it takes up. I know like 500 of that is user created data. If I delete the app will it recreate all of that later if I decide to reinstall it?

Dipping my toes back in... the new update is really good so far, the speed improvements are hugely noticeable.
The question/answer core has been refined a lot since the initial version, it's impressive.
There can't be long left until they perfect that system and then move on to adding new features like furniture and new mini-games, right...?

Anyone friends with legobeatle? Going through the answers, I'd get maybe 5 from her, then 2 other people, then back to her again. Not that I mind, i like her answers, and she has so many of them.

*raises hand*
The amount of questions and comments she has is crazy!
Really interesting person though with good taste.

Answer all my shit man

I'm on it!

If you've made a Nintendo Account then your data saves to the cloud automatically.

I didn't find anything on it, so I'm going to assume photos will be lost.

1. It'll let you know a specific person's answer to a question if you haven't heard their answer yet.
2. If you go to their room, you can hear 2 or 3 answers for free, but it'll cost 1 candy for each additional answer.

I know this doesn't sound right, but I read on Reddit someone got Gold coins for buying microtransactions. Well, I need gold coins and I have a shitload of Google Survey credits, so I'd be down if there's any truth to that

EDIT: So I see the app has gold coins of its own, but that guy on Reddit was still confusing because he seemed to be responding in the context of My Nintendo

More Splatoon stuff is coming. Splatfest tees (Callie+Marie) in the in-game shop and all Miitomo users will get a pin of whichever sister wins the Splatfest for free (it mentions both will be available in the shop from July 25th through July 31st). They're also bringing back the items from the first Splatoon promo (drop stuff, ink tank via My Nintendo, and squid pin in the shop)

edit: Actually looks like all this stuff is available now except for the pins lol

I hate the update that it removed the ability to answer questions consecutively, you have to select Stop then select your Mii again

If you get the chance, answer questions through a visiting Mii, it still works with them.

Also, use the feedback form to call this shit. :)

oh so the visit mii counts the same as you answering your mii questions?

So I just downloaded Miitomo.
How does adding friends via Twitter work? Do I need to follow you guys and you have to follow me?
Yes. There's something in the OP.

I'd like them to add through an update a black bar for Photos, or maybe as a hat.

So today I got spammed the same question over and over again. It's the second time, too, though the first time it eventually stopped, if I recollect correctly. Not with this one. I hope this won't continue tomorrow, even closing the app didn't help. (iOS)

Update: It had stopped the next day.

I guess so. The thing reaches its full potential when using with peeps you know, tho.

Hmm I don't know anybody that is on my twitter other than people I have met online.

I am worried about posting my twitter on here, there are many people out-there that don't like GAF for various reasons.

What is the best way to see if a user you're friends with is inactive?

I tried deleting some peeps but everytime I did it kicked me out of the friends page and I had to go back and scroll through over 100 people again. Any way to mass delete?

The best way I'm seeing is looking at their answers and seeing when the most recent ones were. I delete them it was over 2 months ago and they haven't answered a lot of questions. I do wish we could sort answers by "Recent answers" rather than by comments.

I forgot how cumbersome it is to add people. As I can only see a limited amount of my Twitter friends on the list, and thus can't add anyone specific..

I have worked out now the email add friend thing, if anyone wants to add me please PM me and then I will reply with a email link (that I have sent to myself), Is this ok to do it like this?

Does anyone know whether Miitomo will run on a rooted device? Can't seem to find recent information regarding this.

It won't unless you use an app to bypass whatever root detection Miitomo uses. I use RootCloak and Miitomo works perfectly.

AFAIK they patched out the root detection within the first month. I got a new phone last week and rooted it + installed xposed, and I didn't have to use RootCloak or the xposed module to get Miitomo running.

Speaking of which, Miitomo takes up considerably less space on my new phone, which is Marshmallow. On my old Kit-Kat phone, it took up an extra gig or so of extra data.
