Oh yeah, Aggron is god-like design. Might find new usefulness in Gen 6 since his Steel-typing will give him an edge over Fairy-types. But yeah, Steel is losing certain resistances, so who knows, lol.

Those issues only affect out favorite 3 steel/psychic Pokemon lol

I think a new Super Effective attack against, and a resistance to Fairies makes it better. Aggron isn't weak to Dark or Ghost anyway.

EDIT: Crud, I meant to merge this into my last post. DX

Tyranitar, Tyrantrum and Aggron. Would those guys work well in a triple battle?

I GOT IT.

Hydreigon.

T-rex, Gozilla, Gehdora on the track.

Call it the Kaiju team

If everyone else is going to be a Kaiju, Tyrantrum stands out. He could be Gorosaurus or Zilla...

I GOT IT! Tyrantrum is Godzillasaurus, Tyranitar is Gojira himself, and Aggron is Mecha Godzilla. Boom.

Tyranitar was and still is my favorite pokemon ever and Tyrantrum is hitting all those same notes.

Those two will be on my team constantly for all of eternity.

The original Digimon virtual pets actually just "evolved" like Pokemon more or less, except they had lots of branching paths instead of a set line they went through.

It wasn't till Digimon Adventure that the idea of them powering up and temporarily evolving came about as far as I know (or did the V-Tamer manga do that first?), and since the show was made by Toei, I imagine it itself was inspired by Super Sentai with the Digimon being more or less equivalent to the Mecha, with the team uncovering progressively stronger forms as new enemies arose.

Then there's the fact that "Mega" Digimon is a dub invention, and it's not called that in the original. It's called "Ultimate", which in the dub used for the stage below it, the "Perfect" stage.

Still waiting for someone to illustrate Tyranitar riding into battle on the back of Tyrantrum.

That is the king of Dino and the King of monsters, a long with KIng ghidora, they do not ride one another.

They ride on the backs of their trainer.

All of you guys' hype for Tyrantrum is making me jump ship from Aurorus. Aurorus is fierce and imbues grace; however, Tryantrum transpires with brute force and royalty status. I'm confused!!! It's almost like choosing between Xerneas and Yveltal, but that move was easier because Xerneas is just majestic as fuck, while Yveltal doesn't offer the bro-hood and badassery that Tyrantrum does in comparison to its opposite counterpart. Oh no! What a predicament. I think I've converted to Tyrantrum! RAAHR!

Sounds like a lot of older Pokemon in this game, I hope this doesn't mean a relatively low number of newbies though! Ideally I'd like around 120.

I think 100 would be more than enough, as long as there is almost 30 cross-gen evolutions like in Gen IV.

Since there doesn't seem to be any cross-generation evolution besides the Fairy-type poster boy Sylveon, then there is nothing to worry about.
