I figured I'd stop and pick this up for PS3 and Vita, but the cashier in game couldn't figure out how to get it to work. He actually said that the deal probably only applied online. I paid in full (with credit) for the PS3 version, should I have them attempt to re-ring it with the Vita sku when I pick it up?

I haven't played The Show regularly in a few years but from what I remember if you're in franchise mode, as the GM you'll get goals from the owner. I think depending on the owner your salary ceiling should be set. But maybe I'm confusing it with EA's NHL game.

You can now set the Offense and Defense to brand new Broadcast Cameras. On Def. you get to see all the action going on just like in a TV broadcast. Really great addition.

Ps3 version is great. Played in 3d last night and it was awesome.
Vita version isnt even worth $20. Im getting sub 20 frames at NYS right now.

Holy shit, I just watched that video. I cant believe the 2k series STILL looks that dated. Wow @ the lighting, the animations, the ball movement etc etc. Its been about 4-5 years since I played 2k because I made the switch to The Show.

I've never purchased a game digitally off of PSN on release day, but the store does update tomorrow afternoon/evening so I am sure around that time.
That looks like shit, I'll tell you now. I won't judge the gameplay, but seriously just the look of the game is years away from The Show.

After playing a few games of Show '12 tonight, I'm sad to see one thing still not being addressed.
I was playing with the Rangers and had Colby Lewis pitching. Lewis got injured pitching and I had to bring in a relief pitcher. Once again, I was forced to bring in someone ice cold and have them only get 8 warmup pitches. In reality, whenever a pitcher comes in to replace an injured pitcher, they are given all the time they need to warmup properly.
Unfortunate that Sony San Diego has still not addressed this.

No clue, you'll probaly have to go through some annoying phone calls with Sony customer service. It really shouldn't be hard to give you a new pass though, unless they want to be pricks.

wait until the March 6th store update goes live
there probably isn't anything in the system for the code to activate yet
2K won't be going anywhere it just means other third-party publishers will be allowed to license and make MLB games if they want to
but I won't be surprised if no one else gets in the race for the sim experience at least (would EA bring back MVP Baseball? they might not think it's worth the trouble)
however I do think we'll see games like MLB Slugfest come back

So you know, the pitcher is warm. The Devs have said that OSD showing him cold is a bug that when they try to correct breaks other things so they have left as is until they can get a fix.
