Hoping A's lose for two reasons.

One, hope Lester gets rocked so his FA price goes down for the Cubs.
Two, makes Billy Beane regret the Addison Russell trade that much more.
Also hope the Royals make the WS vs. the Nats. That would be a fun matchup.

:lol at thinking Lester's asking price would be impacted by a single game. Unless he gets hurt, he's still getting paid.

Cardinals losing in 4 to the Angels with the final out called against the Cardinals being a deep left field infield fly rule. That'd be the most nausea-inducong scenario. Oh, and the out before that final out being a pick off at first.

That SF rotation is pretty dreadful on paper. And without Zito to bail you out of the NLCS, is it really going to happen?

Also I'm going to laugh when the homeplate collision rule strikes hard and fucks someone over. Someone in the league office needs to announce just how it's going to be enforced this month.

I could buy Tigers-Orioles tickets for Comerica park today....but have to wait for the Thursday/Friday games at Camden Yards until tomorrow. MLB ticketing is weird.

I was thinking more along the lines of #5 turning back the clock and bludgeoning our pitching en route to a WS ring/MVP. And then the media praising Arte Moreno for buying a championship. Followed by an actual discussion of #5 going into the HoF with an Angels cap.

The Blue Jays didn't make it, so I have next to no interest. Baseball is a sport I like and watch quite a bit of, but only really my team. Even then, I watch so much of it at the beginning of the season that I get bored after a while.

That said, I'd be fine with the Orioles winning. They were our punching bag for years and have played very well. It's a good franchise.

Still, I'd maybe prefer Washington or the A's.
