Lets look back at one of the best games ever. July 26th 2011. Pirates @ Braves. 19 innings of hiliarious baseball.

It had everything from the Devil Child yeling "Lets go Pirates" in your ear for 5 hours to our hero Cup Man savior of abandoned cups.

to the braves intentionally walking someone to get to mccutchen with SCOTT PROCTOR on the mound.

and it had Scott Proctor, somehow, someway throw 3 scoreless innings, 52 pitches to get the win.

How did Scott Proctor throw three scoreless ininings? HOW?! Every damn pitch of his should have been destroyed.

But it all ended in glorious fashion on one of the best plays ever.

and then they played 10 innings the next night. And the pirates who were above .500 and were looking to do so for the first time since 1992 collapsed and finished the season below .500 again.

We need more games like this in 2016.

edit: also more hilarious is that the Pirates never used their closer in that game.
