Is there any chance that Canadian laws allow Blue Jays players to juice more easily? Random thought with Bautista and Encarnacion being home run outliers.
2010 - Steroids!
2011 - Man in white!
2012 - Canadian law!

What's coming next year? Secret Dominican gamma radiation?

How about instead of throwing about thoughts like this, we actually look at the swing changes they've both made that are clear as day to anyone that's been watching them swing. Nah, that's too easy an explanation. I'm gonna go with the Laser Hair Removal treatment, that they both got. And endorsed!

Does Canadian Law allowed them to smoke weed without getting caught more easily than in the states?

Lol weren't the Blue Jays under heavy inspection a little while ago for stealing signs?

Ugh, I wish. Possession of small amounts was briefly decriminalized (2004?) under the last Liberal government, but now it's a crime again :(. But Eddy's not high on anything but life in that video... or painkillers.

Rando: Either the White Sox or Yankees a formal complaint, but MLB had received no others from any other club so there was no investigation, IIRC. Yankees were suspicious after the Jays bombed Colon last year, I think he was recently suspended for something...

Couldn't someone with MLB.tv do an informal investigation?

It'd be a lot of work, since the normal camera angle is focused on the catcher, but something could be done.

Canadian law doesn't apply to MLB players, obviously. Otherwise they'd have to stop half the league at the border for DUIs like normal people (recently changed to a 1-time exception).

Way ahead of of you, like, by a year.

Fun thing, in the original article, one of the White Sox relievers is alleged to have shouted "It's not too [f------] easy to hit home runs when you don't know what's coming!" at Jose during the April 14, 2010 game. At that point in his 54 homer breakout year he had exactly 1.

Finding a man in white on the broadcast and making a spreadsheet comparing that man's behavior to the pitch type (and publishing his work), are two different things.

Maybe no one cares enough.

Well, to compare that man's behaviour to the pitch type would impossible for any of us, since the cameras don't usually point out to right-centre while the signs are being given.

The only people who would care enough would be the MLB itself and, from the original article:
An MLB spokesman said "Major League Baseball has never received a complaint from any club about sign stealing in Toronto, and this is first [we've been] made aware of it."
So let's drop it.

The worst thing about Fox Saturday is not having the highlights in Gameday. Fuck that shit. They're even blocked for a foreigner like me!
