Just saw the score today................Mark Reynolds welcome back! Glad you joined us again. Missed you in April.

I for one, bow down to my Jango-led overlords.

Still early, but this made me laugh harder then it should. It's fun to actually be a fan of a winning team for once. Even if they fail in the end, least they've been exciting for a month.

Do not take any pitching you see in Coors Field seriously. Hudson and Minor will be fine. Moving on...

How about old man Chipper with 5 RBIs?

Looks like Moyer pissed off Chipper by accusing him of stealing signs:

That was all on Jamie Moyer. He woke a sleeping giant tonight. He started chirping and it went all downhill for him from there. He accused me of relaying a sign down 6-2 with a 3-0 count to Brian McCann. I have never relayed a sign to anyone while I'm on second base.

You question our integrity, that's wrong. I've never accused him of doctoring a baseball. I've never accused him of over-milligraming, nothing. That's bullshit and he woke us up. I didn't see any signs on the 900-foot homers that Matty D and J-Hey hit.

I don't know what the problem was. I was literally having a conversation with Tulo when he stepped off and said that. I don't know why he's so paranoid. But to be honest with you, every pitch he throws is 78. So it's not like we really have to relay signs.

So a light morning discussion: which of your team's contracts do you feel will be the worst? I say "will be," because I'd prefer one that still has significant time left on it, and not one that will soon be up which, in retrospect, may not have been such a good idea. I'm looking for those contracts which, upon hearing the dollars and years figures, you thought, "Ugh, that's a bad deal."

For the Cardinals, I feel the Matt Holiday deal is their worst. They have very little else tied up very long term, but most of those long term contracts with anyone over 25 are going to be painful, and I suspect the Cardinals will begin regretting Matt's deal 2-3 years from now. I would have said Kyle Lohse, but his contract ends this year. I felt that was a bad deal instantly upon signing.

Any long term contract teams regret, they are just necessary evils to keep a player during there prime years. You just hope they stay in there prime most of the contract.

I agree with the Holiday deal, I thought it was too much for too long. In fact I thought it was one of the reasons we couldn't get Albert back.

Luckily, my team doesn't have to deal with such issues.

Adrian Beltre will probably end up pretty ugly, when he is 37 years old and getting 18 mil. Other than that the Rangers have done a great job when it comes to long term contracts.

I mean, it seems to have the implication of drug use, but I'm not sure what drugs. HGH because he is old? Steroids I wouldn't think. Viagra because he is old? Chip is only 9 years removed, though.

Grumpy old man drama! Lol!

Except for yesterday, I've been kinda pulling for Moyer, but this is ridiculous. Apparently he told McCann "stealing signs is a good way to get hurt.". What's he gonna do, gum Chipper's arm off?

No need to start the jinxing so soon. Dickey has had like 2 or 3 bids already, I guess a knuckler helps in doing that.

Fuck Cole Hamels btw.

I'm still gonna take credit for that double though.

But yes, fuck Cole Hamels, I agree.

We're so fucking bad. Up and down the lineup we have either washed up losers, retards & tight suits, or lazy sleepwalkers. And then you have Russell Martin. I don't even know what he is. Some kind of baseball diva.
