Too early yet to claim victory for the Cubs.
The only way Kershaw would pitch in a game 7 is if he had a low pitch count in game 6.
They should had made him start today and place him in bullpen for 6 or 7.

there was an extra day in between games 4 and 5 in that instance. Games 6 and 7 will both be in Chicago so no rest day inbetween I believe.
Playing Kershaw in 6 and then again in 7 (if you make it that far) seems like the kind of thing you do in the World Series, when you have no more games left to play, rather than an NLCS.
More then that. His last two starts he barely pitched.

Roberts gave the Dodgers the best chance to win game 6 and 7, which I think was the smart move. Cubs will have to beat a tough lefty to win the series.
