I'll miss McCarver. Basically grew up watching games called by him and Joe Buck.
They actually came to the Yankees for for CC/Teix and the Yanks said no. They probably could have thrown A-Rod in there somehow as long as all of them agreed to waive their NTC.

I think he will too, but I don't see him being as effective as he was from '09 to '12. If given the chance to get out that contract now, the Yankees would do it in a heartbeat.

Now that I sit back and think about this series, its amazing that it even went 6. The two wins the Cards had were from botched throws and obstruction calls. The Cards have a good, young pitching core, but I think something has to be done about Freese and Jay. Enough is enough.
