DC is still my favorite fighter right now, honestly even more bummed now that Jon tested positive. That's gotta but such a ridiculous mish mash of emotions.

Cheers! I downloaded all the early UFC's for a laugh, and had no idea how fucking terrible the whole thing was. Art Jimmerson with his one boxing glove, Art Jimmerson also tapping out to full mount, Teila Tuli getting his teeth kicked out, Gordeau with a broken hand and an infected foot fighting in the finale, The incredible commentary, its just a glorious mess. I haven't watched UFC 2 yet so I might do another one for that if its as much of a shitshow as 1

Speaking of early UFCs, there was this one fight that I'll never forget that had this fighter (whose name I forgot) who studied Jeet Kung Do, which is Bruce Lee's martial art. Naturally, the UFC had a video package of the guy and how he worships Bruce Lee and wants to bring honor and what not. The fight starts and after a scuffle, the guy was able to get on top and started head butting the living shit out of his opponent and he wins via TKO. I was watching that fight with my dad and he promptly turned off the TV after that fight.

i always saw the UFC tapes next to the WWF tapes at blockbuster... had no idea what it was and never rented them, i guess i figured it was just a wrestling knockoff... what a waste

I feel like I just watched 1 thanks to your vid so I'm watching 2 and 3. Just got to the part where 600 lb sumo wrestler pushed Keith Hackney out of the cage door.

I'd reconsider the company I keep.

Continuing my early UFC minithon--might keep it going to distract from this stupid fight if I don't end up going out.

I forgot Tank admitting he was getting sexually aroused while pounding on his opponent's head.

UFC 6: did Olak ever get a fight with Pat Smith? I think he would have won but that would have been a fun one.
