Big Nog vs Kongo in UFC 149.
Brazil fail
Impossible. He completed the word "down".
Dude just knows a lot of people and is quite the schmoozer. Funny thing is he talks a lot like Quentin Tarantino, lol. If he was cool with Dana and Joe Silva he wouldn't have given up that info he had about Andy throwing a fit about the venue change for the Sonnen fight. And even then, Brian's not-too-reliable source for this specific info was Chael, who he was hanging with for most of the time in ATL and Sonnen was the one who hooked the dude up with his UFC 145 ticket. Also, he had some inside info about another fighter at the ill-fated 146 presser who was scared shitless of the surprise drug test because he had just finished cycling off 10 days prior that he wouldn't have been able to get from Dana or Joe Silva I don't think.Front Row Brian called that shit awhile ago.

I'm starting to think my theory about him being really good buddies with Dana and Joe is the truth.
Big Nog vs Kongo in UFC 149.
kongo vs zombie nog is the battle of the gatekeepers. I think kongo is good enough to ko zombie nog.
Except Kongo will probably try to wrestle, and then end up getting subbed once he takes it to the ground.
Drinking bad beer isn't a specialty.I believe his nick name is "THE ALL-AMERICAN."
That should inform you on what is specialty is.
I don't get Kongo. If you read his writing, he doesn't seem like he's as dumb as a bag of hammers, but damned if he doesn't turn his brain off as soon as that cage door shuts.Except Kongo will probably try to wrestle, and then end up getting subbed once he takes it to the ground.
Kongo is getting the Schaub treatment.
sien, for OT3, maybe you can expand on what i did with OT2 with legendary fighters, you can include a section for legendary camps:

I'm trying to get my flight changed from Jul 4th weekend to memorial day weekend as well as get my UFC 146 ticket refunded.. As long as I can pull that off I definitely will be going to 148 in Vegas.Back from media black out now that I finally saw 145.
Poly - are you going to see Sonnen/Silva in Vegas?
"The only thing that would even make me think about it is if they gave me a shot at the title. So, we'll see. For now? Yeah. Jon Jones. I don't wanna come back as a sideshow. It's just one of those things. It's not something I wanna do."

It's funny how one fight can make a card go from pretty shitty to fuckawesome and vice versa.
EDIT: fuck that, AA wants to charge me $150 to change a $250 flight.
Yeah I'll be attending 146 and staying home for 148
I just want to go to one show and that seems like the one to go to.
At the rate Jones is going through the division, Liddell may be the only option in a year or so.
Are you looking into getting tickets too? I don't even know where to start.Ditto
Yeah I am a Fight Club member. Go to UFCFightClub.com and sign up, you pay a fee for a year worth of early ticket access. This also gets you into the Q&A prior to weigh ins which also gets you better seats to said weigh ins than the general public. For an event like 148 it will be worth it because it's quite possible it could sell out just on Fight Club sales alone and you would be paying more on StubHub anyways.Poly, you have the UFC All Access or fight club or whatever that lets you buy tickets early? I'm wondering if I should even try to get tickets to 148 without that. I just want to go to one show and that seems like the one to go to. Vegas from Hawaii is always cheap so that's not an issue. Just dunno about getting a decent seat without paying scalper price.
I'd definitely watch it just for the entertainment value. Liddell obviously wouldn't have a chance in the world but it would be fun to see how long he could last.

Stop, or my his mom will shoot!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight number one contender Urijah Faber recently gave a shout out to his mom, Suzanne, on his official Twitter account after she was able to apprehend a cat burglar by brandishing a weapon.
Turns out it was just a pellet gun.
The greatest anticipation regarding the press conference held by the UFC this tuesday, in Rio de Janeiro, was about wether or not Chael would have the courage to talk about Brazil the way he does in the USA, and how he would react to the questions from local journalists. The trash talker was clearly not intimidated and said he used to see brazilian children "playing in the mud" through his home's window. But his reaction to provocations from the press wasn't quite nice.
During one on one interviews after the press conference, Sonnen was approached by two comedians and got irritated with the hard time one of them had speaking English. This same person asked him for an autograph and gave him a shock pen. The american broke the pen, an attitude he would later regret.
"I shouldn't have done that. My emotions got the best of me", he admitted while grabbing a cup of coffee in a reserved room, after the one on ones.
Later, Sonnen had tense moments during exclusive interviews with select media outlets. During a TV interview, the American dodged a question about Anderson Silva's weaknessess and got nervous when pressured to answer. Later still, while talking to a newspaper journalist, the trash talker questioned his work ethics and interrupted the interview when he brought up Sonnen's positive test following his first bout with Anderson, in august 2010 - Sonnen had presented elevated levels of testosterone and was issued an almost year long suspension.
"This interview is over", said Chael Sonnen, while getting up and refusing to take a picture for the newspaper. He was about to leave the room when UFC PR people told him there was still an interview left. He turned back, sat down and proceeded with the last interview like nothing happened.
Honestly I believe that's all part of the kayfabe.Chael has problems strattling the line between kayfabe and real, and when to act one way or the other. Then he gets al upset when people don't play along with his WWE act and brings up something that offends him.
dude it's fucking brazilMedia coming to press conferences with shock pens.
Shock pens.
Maybe they should ask him to smell their rose and have it squirt water on him while they're at it.

I don't think it is. I've seen interviews where he does the same thing, he doesn't want get forced into a "real" response.
There's a reason why someone is a heel in wrestling, and can keep being a heel. It's because it's scripted. There are certain things you can't say to be a heel because it's out of line, but it doesn't go that far because it's scripted.
In hyping a fight, people can bring up Chael's past and shit and get him rattled. What is he going to do? Be a heel and say there's nothing wrong with roiding and get him in trouble with Dana or the NSAC? Is he going to be a heel with his real estate fraud and get himself in trouble admitting to something?
That's the problem. He wants to play the heel but is easily rattled because people can bring up real shit he's fucked up on and he has no response because he can't play the heel with that. So he says "this interview is done" - the best way he can play the "heel" in that situation, but also because he knows he can't answer it and runs off.
Natch, honestly if anything you're proving that Chael is an excellent heel. Now tell us how badly you want him to lose.
The indignation of AstroLad coming into the thread trying to claim a piece of crow is completely fucking laughable. NOBODY predicted Rashad was going to win that fight.
Considering Chael has haters analyzing his every action and word uttered in public I'd say he's getting the job done better than anyone in Sports Entertainment today. They want to see him bleed and knocked unconcious. That's real heat.
Even Jon Jones is doing a better job, possibly unintentionally.
Jones was on twitter asking if anyone knew Hendo's reach.
I hate Chael because his fighting style is BORING. I give him credit for being able to talk his way into being a main event fighter, it's something Fitch couldn't do.
I hope he loses and gets the shit beat out of him, not because he talks, because I don't want to see him lay on someone for 4 rounds with pitter patter punches and grappling transitions and then hear about how he 'beat someones ass' from his fanbase.
I'm also more amazed at people who love Chael because he can talk like a 'rassler', even though they're being hypocritical getting on other guys who grapplefuck guys for 5 rounds. Chael's no different. The Bocek fight this past weekend basically sums up Chael Sonnen's fighting style. I really don't want to see that shit, no matter how much someone talks or doesn't talk.
Chael Sonnen winning is going to make for a glorious 4th of July.

You have to admit that Chael has way more heat than someone like Fitch. His fight style helps his cause, but his mic skills put him over the top. I think the fact that it's corny enrages people even more, lol.
Hendo would knock him out so fast it wouldnt be worth the hype.If Hendo beats Jones we need Hendo/Liddell for the LHW title. Last fight ever for both fighters win or lose. So epic.
Sonnen is obviously a good Heel because you're writing impassioned paragraphs bashing him on a message board.
