MMORPG Stats

Next time someone makes a 'PC Gaming is Dying" thread .. here is your answer why. Everyone is investing 100's to 1000's of hours into these games and not trying anything else.

The days of stalling shit is over. For both NA and JP.

That wack, we had PLDS in full koenig with guardian rings and vit up the wazoo and theyd get hit for not that much... then again we just kited him avoiding meteor until he was dead.. we never bothered with head on

Also, only 3 servers have been opened in the last 2 years to alleviate server congestion since launch as I recall (Remora, Hades, and I think it was Asura but I really can't recall for sure)

You forget FFXI was a thriving MMORPG in Japan for years before US even got a shot at it so the servers were already packed.. they opened 2 news ones a whle before US launch but the rest were old as hell. Fairy and Midgard

No it's because PC gamers only want military themed online first person shooters. MMORPGs are the last bastion of good pc gaming.

Not very quick... this is the HNMs after they hit super mode. When they hit super mode, you will not survive. =x
 
Well glad to hear they finally at least did something about 1 of the 2 major problems faced by NA linkshells. The latency issue i guess will never be solved.

HNMs now pop "unclaimable." They will pop and after a random amount of time, they will then become claimable. This is new as well. Closes the gap between NA and JP even more.

You konw whats funny kint.. my LS talked to square and suggesting this "unclaimable" solution to them to make thigns more even and they told us it was impossible. Go figure.

Yep, Fairy and Midgard were opened like 6-8 months prior to the NA launch. However, they were still relatively filled. It's just that Midgardsormr's JP presence for endgame never really took hold unlike other servers which is one of the reasons Midgard's NAs were the first to do a lot of endgame stuff, no massive competition.

Still though, your statement that Midgard got the majority of NAs is flat out wrong. =P
