Modern Warfare 2 to be revealed on June 8, 10AM PT

MW 2019 reinvigorated the franchise like nothing else before it, with a little help from BO4's Blackout. Cold War and Vanguard were just B and C teams keeping the yearly cycle going.

Pumped for a COD for the first time in... well I've never been pumped for a COD before, lol

big if true.

That would give this game infinite replay value.

MW19 was great, the maps very mixed. If that one had map editor I would probably have that game as my only CoD forever.

But there must be a downside. Like progress is not allowed and you can only use standard load outs.

Edit: its like Halos Forge. It's worthless.

With Starfield out the picture, Modern Warfare 2 is going to be the big blockbuster this winter and I dont think it will disappoint.

Cold War over MW2019 any fucking day... Sorry.

I like both multi, but MW has a significantly higher player base seemingly. And going between, mw is far more visceral.
My observation is the opposite... I regularly get blown to pieces in CW, limbs everywhere.
And the sound design is much better.

The 1 thing I miss, what MW does have... The mantling mechanism and the tactical sprint. I still find myself doubleclicking the sprint button in CW.....

All the limb stuff in Cold War is Quake 1 level gibbing vs the soft body physics in mw. Seeing the slow mo replays in mw is on another level completely.

I do enjoy both for what they are, so no favourites here from a gameplay perspective.

Crazy that as Battlefield player i'm more interested in call of duty now :S Hope they give a glimpse of Warzone 2 with the reveal.

Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy both iterations (Vanguard was a turd tbh), but the Black Ops games always seemed to click better with me for some reason.
I only play HC, so I haven't paid attention to it all that much... With the lack of killcams and such.

I'll still buy the shit out of MW2 though....
