Loved the maps, except for fucking Aniyah's Palace. That map was unbereable.
I've been playing it since day one and i still play the game to this day, i have no problem finding matches,
CoD: CW, Vanguard and BF2042 are pure filth and i skipped them directly. So i'll be staying in MW2019 for a long time unless MW2 surpasses it.

It's structurally a solid logo. Makes sense, to the point, familiar green.
That said, I think it's boring, borderline average. Looks like the shit you doodle in highschool geo class.

Doesn't say anything about the game though; I'm sure it will be great with an exciting MP. Infinity Ward is the big boy of this franchise.
The new perks, maps, guns. I'm fuckin ready for it.

but on the cover you can still see the remnants of that original plan, with that tiny Call of Duty logo that is dwarfed by the Modern Warfare 2 logo

Yes. It was the best CoD since CoD4 & MW2 and a return to glory for the franchise. Warzone alone was a cultural phenomenon at one point (still fairly popular), but the campaign and regular multiplayer were great too.

Unless you're one of those Black Ops folks you probably would've liked it.

I found MW for a decent price not long after this post! You guys are definitely right, the game is pretty fuckin sweet.
