Never bothered with the first one. But if this trailer is any indication then this will be one to watch. That they mentioned that they'd lean a bit more into choices and light RPG mechanics is just icing on the cake.
$20 or less, sure. Its cool but does have flaws. One big one in the open world that they could easily fix in a sequel. Art style is great.Never played the first one but the trailers were cool. Worth playing 1?

Fake or not, it sure made an impression. I'll see if I can grab a cheap copy of the first one and give it a whirl. The first game isn't nearly as 'bombastic' as this trailer looks like with its obviously-faked game play. The first one plays a lot more like a Bioshock with an open setting. Pretty good game, imo.
Mick Gordon OST is a highlight.Fake or not, it sure made an impression. I'll see if I can grab a cheap copy of the first one and give it a whirl.

I feel like what was shown is truly whateverthefuck. No direction, or anything, just show shit on screen, have robots with tight asses, and lets hope everyone is excited.
If you like FPS and especially ones like Bioshock that mix abilities you should definitely give it a go.Never played the first one but the trailers were cool. Worth playing 1?
It was atomic heat, wasn't it?that title typo LOL
No it was Atomic Herat and there was another topic made at the same time ALSO with a typo of Atomic Hearth. It was atomic heat, wasn't it?
Mental illness.Why?
First game is somewhat misunderstood. This looked rad. If it's as good as the trailer makes it seem, it'll be a blast. I love the look of it too. How was the first game?

Some people think it is your standard open world game, but it has respawning enemy robots and so it is bad.
But that is not correct. The open world only serves as an immersive connective tissue between interior levels (which are all fantastic) in lieu of loading screens.
Respawning robots can be disabled via ingame hacking mechanic (that many people miss).
Another complaint is about "dudebro" main protagonist and writing. But he only sounds unfitting and lame in english VO. I played in Russian with Czech subtitles and thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters.
The main star of the show is super creative visual design nad punchy weapons and powers (i.e. gameplay). I played the game at launch via gamepass and thoroughly enjoyed it. Runs brilliantly, too.
Mundfish is a Russian company, and they've been coy about their ties to the Russian government. I'm not an era guy by any stretch of the imagination, but I have to admit I have my own ethical issues with this considering, among other things, I have a Ukrainian refugee living under my roof. Why?
I do like the look of the first game and hearing your positive impressions means it's now on my backlog/wishlist.First game is somewhat misunderstood.

Yep, the first game is absolutely, thoroughly Russian. It's crammed full of Soviet era (and contemporary Russia) references to movies, music, cartoons, people etc.(the cartoon that is played on TV in Save Rooms is a famous Soviet cartoon, for example, "Ну, погоди!").Another complaint is about "dudebro" main protagonist and writing. They seem to become hotterThis does look pretty damn good. Hope they deliver a tighter game play experience. Bring back the twins….
The first was very good I thought.Never played the first one but the trailers were cool. Worth playing 1?
Is there a lore reason why the Arkham Asylum purple forum are triggered by this game?
Are they mentally imbalance?
The thing is that Soviet Union had good and bad parts. Just like everything. While the game kind of mocks and satirises certain aspects of Soviet Union, it also romanticises many others. I wish it just downright admitted that this awful cesspool regime was a cause of so much tragedy and suffering. But I enjoyed the game for what it was, I had a very unique look and art-style and the interior levels were very well designed.
Was there a release year that I missed?Looked nuts!
But… How??
The first one was released just 2 years ago!
The big devs says that it takes 5+ years to make a game these days and then these guys come out doing it in half that time with probably a fraction of the work force.
If by good you mean an occasional good film or a book, sure. As someone who has spent my youth there I can assure you there was absolutely nothing good about the regime itself. The thing is that Soviet Union had good and bad parts. Just like everything.![]()
