So it's availble here in NZ, and was wondering if it was alright or not (I love Monopoly, and yes, I have no friends). Was curious if it played even competently, and whether it is the British version or the US board (you know, Mayfiar vs. Boardwalk) and so on.

I grew up with British version so would probably prefer this.

Funnily enough, I can't find any information on it - no reivews at IGN, no mention at GameFaq, etc. This is probably a bad sign...

Thanks for the link, but I don't think that's it. That actually looks really cool - well presented and such.

I was also curious how many people actually clicked on this thread thinking it was about Nintendo's stonghold on the handheld market.

ZooDigital recently released a Monopoly game for the GBA.

which clearly shows Boardwalk on the cover, but the product page mentions localized versions for France, Italy, Germany and Spain, as well -- seems odd that a British publisher would release a game with localized boards for every country but the UK.

simDSC/Brandonn, yeah that's the one, I think. They say fully localised, and with versions for those countries. I assume the UK version is aprt of it...

Anyone here played it and know? Or whther it's anygood? Reviews, etc...

Ok, found a review - oddly they say it has no save (which sucks), but a screenshot from the zoo digital site clearly has a save game option in the menu...

I don't believe so. Takara's version of The Game Of Life is really fun. I wish it would someday receive an English translation.

not that odd that Andrew (our reviewer) said that... Just before we received the game, we asked Zoo Digital whether saving would be possible. Got confirmation from them too that is wasn't.
