That's definitely not my take on things. I'd say it's one of the peak handhelds of all time, certainly a competitor for greatest.
The SNES ports aren't the main draw, it's the amazing spinoffs like: Metroid Fusion, Minish Cap, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Mario Golf/Tennis RPGs, Mario & Luigi, ...
So many incredible games that are basically "what if ___ SNES classic had a sequel?" and fully complete entries in their franchises -- and made at a time when SNES-like 16bit gaming was non-existent on all other consoles.
