A demo was announced for January at TGA's.A demo would be really nice, would like to see how it runs on handheld.
Oh right! Didn't remember that. Well then I guess it's almost sure we'll have a demo by the 7th.A demo was announced for January at TGA's.
What's mobile graphics?I can`t go back to mobile graphics after MHW...I so wish they`d produce a dedicated PC/XSX/PS5 version for this
That low poly, low res, muddy textured, lighting-missing stuff you posted, and yes I mean the MHR screens, too. What's mobile graphics?
Try different weapons as those change the gameplay completely. When I bought MH:World I started with a big ass blade and thought the game was slow and cluncky as hell. This series isn't for me and I've tried. I'll check it out but doubt it'll convince me.

I played MH since the PSP, but it`s 2021 and that is just not good looking for something I´d just play 100% stationary. I´ll have to wait for MHW2.
Keep telling yourself that."low poly, low res, muddy textured"
Please educate yourself about those terms first before spouting nonsense.
MHR on Switch has superior lighting because it's being developed in RE engine instead of MTFramework Engine.

By stationary hardware standard without even understanding anything about technical stuff. Sounds like tech expert wannabe.Keep telling yourself that.
It looks like crap by stationary hardware standards, period.
Oh jesus another internet "expert" with massive Dunning Kruger syndrom....By stationary hardware standard without even understanding anything about technical stuff. Sounds like tech expert wannabe.
Rise is targeting the coop/local coop crowd so might as well just wait for MHW2, or just try it out for new experience.I can`t go back to mobile graphics after MHW...I so wish they`d produce a dedicated PC/XSX/PS5 version for this
Well, I played all mobile/handheld installments since the PSP, so that wouldn`t be a new experience at all for me. But I much prefer the stationary games like MHW+Iceborne nowadays.Rise is targeting the coop/local coop crowd so might as well just wait for MHW2, or just try it out for new experience.
Do you also played coop on PSP/ 3DS or just single player? And now you just can't stomach bad graphics anymore? I guess that makes sense given the MHW impact.Well, I played all mobile/handheld installments since the PSP, so that wouldn`t be a new experience at all for me. I just got more and more nitpicky about graphics/presentation over the years and simply can`t go back now.
I wish you guys a lot of fun, but with the capabilities of the switch, this isn`t for me.
I always played coop/solo about 50/50.Do you also played coop on PSP/ 3DS or just single player? And now you just can't stomach bad graphics anymore? I guess that makes sense given the MHW impact.
I had a lot of things I didn't like in MHW so I'm very much hyped for this. Godspeed.
I always played coop/solo about 50/50.
And yes, it`s pretty much only the graphics keeping me away from this one as it just looks "old" to me. No doubt the gameplay will once again be great, but I`ll wait for the next installment designed for stationary hardware.
Have fun![]()
To me MHR is graphically more appealingI always played coop/solo about 50/50.

According to him Rise looks old despite graphically on par with World thanks to RE engine advantages over MT Framework. To me MHR is graphically more appealing

Putting them side by side makes Rise look even better than it does. Maybe it's because it's more colorful? To me MHR is graphically more appealing

Monster Hunter Rise Is Being Developed On The Resident Evil Engine
Capcom confirms that its upcoming title Monster Hunter Rise is being developed for the Nintendo Switch using its proprietary RE Engine.gamerant.com
Yeah colors do wonders, but that mhw gif is not really how the game look on an oled tv...Putting them side by side makes Rise look even better than it does. Maybe it's because it's more colorful?
Yeah, it looks kind of washed out.Yeah colors do wonders, but that mhw gif is not really how the game look on an oled tv...
I actually vastly prefer Rise visuals over World, especially when it comes to its character models.Putting them side by side makes Rise look even better than it does.
Well they have lots of experience with these games on portable systems, so here's hoping it turns out well.Really want to see whether this game is going to perform really well on portable mode or not
Think it was in the Capcom leak.I think they said there's a PC version coming at some point? Or am I delusional.
Anyway, interested in the future of the franchise regardless. I think MHW expanded the audience dramatically.

Same. I played World for 100 hours. I played the 3DS games for well over 400.Definitely.
Well, MHW expanded the audience in western, but I prefer the MHR style.
MHW got me playing for 2 months, MHXX for over 8 months.
I will go even further and say that I prefer the Monster Hunter X aesthetics. That to me is the real Monster Hunter.I actually vastly prefer Rise visuals over World, especially when it comes to its character models.
