/b/ should be bigger, also perhaps /vg/ is bigger than /a/. It is still pretty popular and compared to other major boards it seems to be the only one that didn't fall into complete shitposting (though there is a lot) perhaps thanks to the hostile nature of the board.

Also it is interesting and hilarious to see the reaction in most boards and how most are realizing that the new admins are most likely not going to have the thick skin Moot had for the last 11 years where every little thing it was blamed on moot or by proxy to him.

It really fell apart now that there's so many people who genuinely take things on there seriously. I didn't go to 4chan much in the first place, but the decline in its quality was one of the things that really made me stop going.

Well, it's tame compared to some people's ridiculous generalization of 4chan being a neverending sea of child pornography and gore porn. Outside of maybe /b/ 4chan is just a bunch of people being assholes because they're anonymous, not a club for pedophiles or something.

If you tune out the assholes there can be genuinely helpful posts and people, though. Many years back when I built my first computer I had /g/ navigate me through figuring out why it wouldn't boot up.
