Shit sucks man, I game only on xbox and it feels like the last 10 years they are trying to do everything except make good video games.

cancelled gamepass/live, usually I just downgrade to core but i'm just gonna play singleplayer games that I own for the next year or so.

Would you like to share...?
i mean, I already reply to you:

Joel was wrong.

the layoffs were meant to happen anyway. that's what happens with consolidation... no drama really

what's the issue? .... the mismanagement of studios and business strategies than never had results . which is definitively a Phil Spencer and Xbox issue.

Even with the COVID and A.I. factors, Xbox still would've fired a ton of people… and the quality of their games still would've sucked, just like they do now.

without the ABK acquisition, Xbox would be another Stadia or OUYA. now... Xbox will be another Stadia or OUYA but the process will be more destructive
From Lionhead and Fable's mismanagement, to Crackdown 3, Halo, ReCore, Scalebound, Redfall, Forza Motorsport/Turn 10, Flight Simulator, Minecraft, Hellblade 2, State of Decay, Everwild, South of Midnight, Avowed, HiFi Rush, and Project Dark/The Initiative, alongside passing on Genshin Impact, GTA3, Heavy Rain, etc., Xbox has shown utter incompetence in both game development and publishing.

Are you referring to the acquisition -- one that all Xbox enthusiasts supported?
Is that true? 🤔

I don't tend to make blanket generalizations about an entire group of people based on nothing but anecdotal video game forum posts.

For my part, I'm almost always against M&A and certainly was not a fan of the ABK acquisition. And the harder Msoft fought for it the more I knew it wasn't right. Consolidation rarely, if ever, benefits consumers in the long run.
