It's MCU-inspired, as shown by the magnetic shield (pulled from Age of Ultron) & the painted-on wings for Cap's helmet (see all of the MCU).

Yeah it's kind of like a cross between the comic and MCU version... same goes for Iron Man... and the same goes for Spider-Man in the Insomniac game.

The Vs team just doesn't seem to like Demitri. He often appears in other crossovers that feature Darkstalkers (PxZ, Snk vs Capcom, Fighting Evolution, Cross Edge), but the Capcom Vs series always excludes him.

In an interview at PSX this morning the Capcom and Marvel reps there basically said the same thing... that some of the staff date back to Children of the Atom.

They didn't outright say Eighting or another studio wasn't involved though.... looking at the character models so far I can say it sure looks like they're outsourcing the models like they did with Street Fighter V. They look very inconsistent.
