I've been listening to this fantastic album for 2 weeks now and its a little slice of heaven. Just never gets boring to listen to, its one of those rare albums that you can listen to all the way through and love every song.

Definitely one of my top three albums of this year, absolutely fantastic.

My rents hate, absolutely detest all forms of western music...yet, they love this album as much as me. It's very weird actually, but not all that surprising given its quality.

It's pretty goddamn hot. I asked for the Deluxe Edition for Christmas from my brother, I hope I get it!

"Too late" implies that you think the awesomeness of this album will wear off!

Repent, heretic!

Too Late only implies that I was there before you!

also, Kill Uncle > YATQ but they still both own completely and utterly.

Here's where we form a scism of the faithful.

I didn't really like Kill Uncle. I prefer Your Arsenal, and TATQ is better still.

But we've differed before. I loathe Strageways. Kill Uncle just seems like more of that.

Mine too, right behind (in chronological order) The Smiths, Hatfull of Hollow, Meat is Murder, the Queen is Dead and Louder Than Bombs.

;)

(Strangeways is the only one I don't own)

Oh, as long as we're at it-- any of you Smiths fans ever pick up Kirsty McCall's "KIte"? Features Marr on guitar throughout and a cover of "You Just Haven't Earned It Yet Baby"

It's an outstanding album -- definitely in my Top 10 for the year, but I forget exactly where I placed it.

I'm going to resurrect the "Top Lists" thread (or start a new one) after Christmas so that people can have fun with their new CDs, DVDs, books, etc. and then do their final rankings.

I was preparing the torches, pitchforks and boiling tar for the purging of the ecumenically suspect Morrissey fans, but some HAS mentioned Your Arsenal so maybe I'll just content myself with a vigourous denunciation of this dangerous heresy at the next Church of Moz cardinals' meeting.

Your Arsenal is still his best solo album. I'd be torn between You Are The Quarry and Vauxhall and I for #2, though.

It's like they said in trainspotting, it sounds ok but deep down you know it shite. Morrissey has never attained the level of greatness he did with johnny marr. It's one of his better solo efferts though.
