Silent Hill: Shattered Memories ending is really phenomenal. It gave me feelings I never knew existed and was still affected by it days after.

I've played through the game twice and I still don't get it. What made this twist so good? Unexpected? Yes, but nothing else.

and this is what exactly??????????????????????????????

a game that punch you in the face, in the guts, in the feels and make you feel like shit all along and for playing all these shooters in your life before it.

Spec Ops : The Line.

check the massive lttp thread. It's amazing and dirt cheap these days

Word. The ending I got just seemed very tragic and believable. I loved it. Had me thinking about it for days. It wasn't overly horrible or obvious, it was just something very heartfelt and sad when it all comes together and you have this realization about the main character. Broke my heart.

There's simply no way to enter this thread without getting my ass spoiled unless I have played every game ever made.

Risky business. It's a matter of time before someone pulls in here with *Game I still intend to play but want to keep fresh*.

Near the end of the first disk of Grandia 1, one of the two original party members decides to return home due to her becoming totally exhausted with the travelling and adventure. This is the song that plays in the farewell scene.

Damn that's a sad scene.

The second disk has a sadder scene - Leen sacrificing herself to buy time versus Gaia. But it doesn't hit you quite as hard IMO...

The Darkness. Jenny getting blown away in your face then Jackie turning around and shooting himself in the head. Rough.

Kinda sad: Midna leaving at the end of twilight princess. I was a bit water eyed.

Downright depressing: The end of The Walking Dead when you send clementine out as you die. I cried for a straight hour or two. First cry in a few years too ;_;

I was 8 years old, and I got monster rancher 2 for christmas, I loved the cartoon and couldn't wait to play.

I got mochi!!! omg the guy from the show!!! we played, trained, fought in tournaments and went on archaeology digs.

Then one day mochi got sick.....and died.

THE FUCK MONSTER RANCHER 2

(not an actual scripted story moment I know)

The scene in Dark Souls where, if you save Sif in the DLC before fighting him at the grave of Artorias, he will recognize you, hesitate, and reluctantly pick up Artorias' sword. I dunno why, but that scene hit me hard.

Also, To the Moon. The entire game was pretty emotional.
