Most realistic crying scenes in tv/movies?

So I'm watching the last season of Better Call Saul and the actress who plays Kim Wexler is really phenomenal. There are some really emotional moments that she has to carry and she does so in an extremely adept way. A lot of crying scenes in film tend to be less believable, depending on the actor who's doing it, but a believable scene separates the good actors from the otherworldly ones. What are some scenes where the crying is fully believable and looks realistic?

Always loved this scene.

And honestly, I also love Heather’s video confession in Blair Witch Project. Yes, it’s been parodied to death, and people mock the snot, but she really sells the idea that this is someone on the verge of a mental breakdown due to extreme fear and stress, exhaustion, little sleep, etc.

Florence Pugh in Midsommar
Probably the best i have ever seen
Gave me chills and reminded me of family members crying at funerals. It immediately gave me flashbacks to seeing my mom crying intensely when my dad passed away.

Great film and an excellent performance overall. One of the best in the business right now IMHO.

The scene in The Father where Anthony Hopkins character is slapped genuinely made me homicidal. Amazing acting from a legendary actor.
yes this scene.... christ.... makes my eyes bawl out

I've watched that movie and then invited my parents over because I know they like a good movie.
They were bawling their eyes out.... maybe it was a bad choice to show them the movie.

but nothing as much as Hachiko. My mother cried for a whole week straight after that movie. I called here and she cried.. like 4 days after watching a movie lol.
I need to see that film again

And this... damn... best acting ever. The movie is almost unwatchable it's so sad. amazing

As someone who, until 3 months ago, had to look after my Mum 24/7 for 8 years, who had painful ailments and ever increasing dementia, that was a hard watch. She mentions her mum occasionally, too, in the same vein, even though her mother died 30 years ago. Luckily she is in a home not far away, who's staff are really good. She enjoys herself; though she has her ups and down because of the dementia. I don't think I could watch that film, fully, knowing of the experience.

Interstellar. Nobody with a child can watch that scene and stay calm.

Well if they can then their kids need to be taken away from them faster than if Biden had walked into the room.

that's the scene i immediately thought of. she absolutely nailed that scene. it's that kind of cry you hear/make when you're in so much pain and grieving for someone. it reminded me of crying over my dad. florence is an amazing actress and i know shit about acting but i don't think that's something you can fake.

also while we're on Midsommar there is a similar scene in Hereditary (also by Ari Aster):

The tears are not in the movie. The tears are in you

I would post Notebook but that's cheating

omg i just watched The Father a couple weeks ago. i fucking broke down. reminded me so much of my Grandad is his final years. it goes without saying really but Anthony Hopkins is a legendary actor.
