[Gaia Theory]

I don't know about the rest of you guys and gals, but Earthbound has got to be one of the wackiest, most fun RPGs I have ever played.

There was talk of Mother 3 appearing on the DS (seeing how it was in development for the N64/64DD way back), but it seems as though Nintendo Dream thinks that it's head to the GBA.

I don't care what platform the new Earthbound appears on, just as long as NOA is wise enough to release it on North American shores. While there at it, we should also get the Mother 1 + 2 compilation GBA game as well. Fingers crossed.

I won't believe the existance of Earthbound 2/ Mother 3 until they put the cartridge into my cold dead hands. They will be dead because the game won't come out until I die of fricken old age.

Also, though, I'm worried about the prospects of this coming to the US. We still didn't get Mother 1+2, which is ridiculous.

I don't give a shit what system the game is on, it could be on the fucking Virtual Boy and I'd still buy it. Mother 1+2, the JPN version, is what bought me a Game Boy Player.

Please, Nintendo of America, BRING US MOTHER 3!

Mother 1+2 won't ever be coming here, but Mother 3 has a decent shot imo. Even though Nintendo has fully translated scripts for 1+2, the translation team said they'd actually need to relocalize everything anyway to bring it up to snuff... which really isn't worth the effort for 2 ancient RPGs that likely wouldn't break 100k. Sorry.
