Should have been a 2d engine game. the 2d aspects don't gel with 3d stuff, looks weird.

Yeah, not a fan either, something feels off. Forgive Me Father has a similar blend of 2D/3D but feels way more cohesive (the style is completely different of course).

The XIII, MadWorld or Cuphead styles or anything a bit special are imho too rarely used. We get too often realism or too far back retro.

It takes more than 20 hours to complete. Plus, it's not just a retro shooter, it's much more than that. Narrative, OST and voice acting are all impecable.

Sold! Even though I was waiting on this to come out and forgot about it, till now.
