Blackadder. Silent comedy is interesting, too, but I like me some words to laugh at.

Though the thought of a sort of mixture, Mr. Bean in medieval times or in World War II... now that could be interesting.

I own both the Bean box set and BlackAdder box set and I keep coming back to BlackAdder. Bean is very funny but as soon as you've seen an episode once the replay value just isn't there.

Indeed. One of the most poignant commentaries on the horror of war i've ever seen, the juxtaposition between the humour and the 'over-the-top'... and then the image of the poppy fields... really got me.
