The games looked good to great, but nothing we haven't seen before. The Live stuff looks fantastic though.

The gameplay footage in NFS looked like drag racing, so I'm sure the bullet time only happens in conditions like when you drive under that truck for instance. Much in the same way that it'd go into a slow-mo replay view when you jumped/crashed in the previous games. The drag racing leading into a police chase looks fun.

And where the hell is PD0!? :lol

FF 11 comin g to 360 is a joke. It is a 2 YEAR OLD GAME!!! I am not sure who they think is going to buy this, but I can't imagine it will sell well at all. This seems like another Microsoft misstep, but good all around for SQ-ENIX. After Sony discontinued support for the PS2 HD, I am sure they afraid as to the future viability of keeping FF 11 going.

Squeenix giving FFXI would of been bigger if it wasn't already on PS2 and PC a loonnnng time ago. The demo was short and showed nothing from existing square franchises so I'm confused on to exactly what kind of Squeenix support 360 has. When they announce something besides FFXI I'll take interest.

I have to laugh at the one billion consoles sold target, with half of that expected to be on Xbox Live. Wow.

I'M PISSED, and it seemed that most games looked kinda cheap compared to what Sony showed.

Square enix is now on board for 360, and it didn't just sound like a one game deal. It sounded like Square would be releasing more games for 360, now if MS can just get the next GTA to be released at the same time as the PS3 version. If that happens the 360 is on it's way to taking over the US market.

I think it's great to be excited, but I can't seem to figure out what was worthy of next-gen in that conference. GoW looked good engine wise, but that was long and boring. FFXI is a waste at this point, SE is already about to move forward with a new MMORPG. Showing WoW on 360 would have been better. Notice how quiet the crowd was after most of that stuff, especially FFXI. And folks, based on that closing reel, PDO does indeed looks like shite. I guess we'll have another generation of the same old stuff. *sigh*
