Yea, if this is happening (I can't believe I'm starting to believe this is happening), and only just started full production and they're already willing to announce, this is definitely not gonna be some super high end affair. It's gonna probably have dissida models with a modestly made world.

Yeah thats the impression I am getting too. The outsourcing is what gave it away for me. If they were truly remaking it completely, they would do so internally. I am not expecting something so big out of this now.

Well, it would make since to flat-out remake FFVII as that is by far the most popular and iconic tittle in the series next to VI and IX. I just hope this is done right and that we get a release date with the announcement.

If Level-5 is working on this....interesting, but likely choice, as they worked with Square in the past like many pointed out, and they worked with Sony for a number of projects too; if this is an exclusive, it will be a great combination of three big studios/publishers who know each other really well !

Man, this E3 is going to be crazy; KH3 gameplay or trailer, FFVII getting a full remake, Last Guardian coming out this year, Shenmue might be getting HD Remasters, Rare having a massive collection of games..... Killer E3 :').

Even if this rumor is true, y'all should learn to not hype yourselves up before these conferences, as history has shown us that we often do not get what we want. Plus the impact and excitement is so much greater when it's a legitimate surprise. I'd take that, the dream of getting a full 3D remake similar or better visuals then FFX was a pipe dream of pipe dreams and way too expensive to make. But a game with 3D models of more present game quality moving around a 3D but pre-rendered world in similar fashion as the original feels right to me. The type of remake people are asking for just wouldn't be FFVII otherwise.
