Another person I have to sincerely thank in this thread. I'm such a jaded musician that I find it almost shocking to come across pieces such as this. Despite being a bass player, I wish I had a chance to play such a piece.

Oddly enough, the best threads about music are when they call for a specific mood or emotion. That is music's biggest advantage over the other art forms. Well executed music, as far as I see it, captures pure emotion. Other art forms such as literature, theater and film simply try to translate the pure emotion captured in music into a narrative format, at least as far as I am concerned.

Mortrialus, I agree completely. Music really does capture emotion better than anything else. Find the right way to organize notes, and you can really convey any kind of feeling.
Who knows? Maybe you'll find a way to play this song in the near future.
