The first part was great. I love the looks of that city.
 
I gave up on PD0. The pics look from OMGWTF1.5 to meh. The videos are a mix as well, but can look much better, and get to 'good.'

I felt the same way. This latest vid has renewed my interest. You should give it a look. The gameplay actually looks fun. The graphics look incredible as well.
 
the game seems like it's so much fun, I hope rare can upgrade the graphic by 360 launch, cos so far it's not screaming "next gen" to me. Might get it if it gets good reviews.

What is "nice" about the pic? I see jaggies, polygons and bad art. Just watched the vid, the graphics are underwhelming but it looks like fun....

Just take it to mean "looks like crap, totally underwhelming they should be doing better", because thats what it means, and thats what this looks like.
 
there seems to be so many versions of joanna, which one will they be using?
is this the final one? I like this the best...hope this is it, and not the one in the x'05 trailer
 
Looks awesome to me. Obviously not the 360's best, but it looks at least as good as games like CoD2 and GR3.
 
I'd say ity looks fun but, really it just looks like every other average fps out there, didn't see anything different really except the annoying blue arrows telling you where to go. Death animations still look weak IMO.

What the fuck video were you watching? Those death animations were perfectly natural-looking.

I like how he throws in bad art, like it's just as visibly obvious as jaggies. "Did you see that one screen? Bad art was really popping up. Here's hoping the framerate doesn't take too much of a hit when they bump good art up to 2x or even 4x, if we're lucky."

That really is a nice model of Joanna. Probably my favorite of them all.

The video was pretty good. The game is looking better and the physics seem to have been refined. Really needs those blood stains though.

Yes, the game has absolutely despicable art. Also, the physics were overdone before, but now they are underdone. The enemies just slouch over everytime. :lol

Not to me, I'd like to see more weight on the characters, like that first one for example that falls in the box, looks like that guy is filled with helium. They all feel like they are dropping too slowly, also for next gen I'd also like to see more struggling, and different reactions, in PDO they all seem to just go limp and drop really slowly to the ground. I's like to be able to Look down at them see them coughing up blood etc. I would really like to see the envelope pushed in terms of animation. Guess we all have different expectations of where animation should ( could be ) next gen.

Yeah, one of my favorite florida coasters... I say florida cause thats all i've really ever been too. Guess it comes from being stuck here :)
 
Yeah memories. Nice ride. I remmeber there was that red and blue dragon coaster which was nice too. Meets up at one point :D

Bush Gardens is nice for rollercoasters.

Very first guy gets shot in the STOMACH. And the coughing thing was an example of how I'd like to see the envelope pushed.

EDIT: actually the head shot anims werent too bad, that first one stomach and chest does look awkward.

I'm going on this coaster for the first time this weekend. It should be fun.
 
It looks good. Lighting and texturing are awesome as always. Plus, judging by this video and others, the ragdolls are the best I've seen.
