Put the crack pipe down.

No way in hell they're launching Forza Horizon 6 next fall near GTA. Same goes for the Halo Remake.

Didn't some insider claim FH6 was planned for Q1?

As for Fable, I remember Jez saying there will be a character creator or something. Strongly implying it's not just that chick.

Even Phil acknowledged this meme; it's funny that it is not only true, but that Xbox hasn't even been able to move forward. 😂🤣

Sounds too good to be true. Would like another Horizon for sure. Fable, in theory, but I have low hopes for that one. Kind of tired of Gears and Halo.

I really hope Fable will be a slam dunk.

Doubt it, but damn would it be great if Fable come back with a bang.

All of them will get 80s on MC, some snarky idiot will post their first week Steam CCP and that will be the topic of the week, come Game Awards neither of them will even get a mention, and that is 2026 on Xbox

Am expecting Halo to be ok. (UE5 will let it down)

Fable will be below average.

Forza will be great.

Gears will be great but possibly content light.
Man I hope not Fable is the only one I'm looking forward to. Never really been a fan of Halo and I got tired of gears after the first three.

I'm not shocked most want to see Fable out of that bunch. There is just this Gears, Halo, Forza fatigue.

I'm porbably most hyped for a new Gears game. I'm up for some testosterone filled alien stomping.

Forza could be good, but depends on the monetization model for me. If you can buy any form of currencies/vouchers for real money -> 🚮

I will be pleasantly suprised if Fable turns out to be anything other than modern audience slop. But it's been in development for so long so who knows how it'll turn out. Would love for it to have an ACTUAL return to form.

Halo is whatever to me. Hope it gives fans what they want.

-----------------

Talking about Gears are there any strategy/tactics fans put there that can reccomended Gears Tactics? In theory it should be my jam.

Halo is a remake, without multiplayer and with a sprint button, because then they can say they invested something to "improve" an already perfect campign.
CE's campaign is far from perfect. Not that I think these chumps can improve it. Top tier but plenty of rough edges that could be smoothed off in the right hands.

Gears E-Day will be the only great game amongst these, except car racing.

Fable is exciting because of the potential. Probably will be AA mediocre Gamepass centric title.

Newer Gears games usually have a solid step up in gameplay.

Hopefully we can get a step up over what was in Gears 5.

X360 Gears games lack a lot of mobility and fluidity that newer games have. CQC is so much fun in Gears 5.

Would be surprised if Fable was anything more than serviceable. Pretty graphics is most I expect out of it.

All of these are incredibly strong titles being released. If they all launch, it would be an absolutely phenomenal year.

My only doubt is Fable. It's the one we know the least about, and I still don't believe it's wise for a studio to release two top games just a few months apart, as this could potentially sabotage or overshadow the success of their own projects.

Add to that, it's a year with other big titles and GTA VI... Perhaps early 2027 would be a better time for Fable than November or December, competing with GTA VI.

There's also Clockwork Revolution...

My predictions are:

1-FH 6 April/May/June

2-Halo Remake August/September

3-Gears E-Day October/December

4-Clockwork Revolution October/December

5-Fable January/February/March 2027

No chance Clockwork makes it next year. Fable could hit in May /June window ala Witcher 3 release. FH 6 I would guess September as usual for that series. Halo is just a remake and without mp could drop it close to Gta 6 for the anniversary idk but then cod is always gonna cramp the schedule. Gears gets the delay if Fable makes it.

It's up in the air that any will be great. I'm looking forward to gears the most. I hope they give new life to the series. Also hopeful for the Halo remake. They desperately need something good to happen to this series.

They are on a hiding to nothing with the Halo remake. Long term fans will be upset at the changes no matter how good or bad it turns out and any potential new audience won't care about it much.

There's still a decent chance that Fable will be cancelled. And if they're reworking the game after earlier production problems then the 2026 release may be in danger.

Halo can also easily get delayed considering how much work they have ahead of them. Only Gears and Forza are very likely to launch in 2026.

Very nice Gamepass fodder, I will play them all. It'll be interesting to see how they time the releases, I assume that they'll try to avoid GTA6.

Gears E-Day is the known upcoming game I look the most forward to besides the next Elder Scrolls. Super hyped about this one.

Forza Horizon 6 is a day 1 play for sure, I've loved them all from FH3 and forward. Hopefully they add some new fun mechanic this time.

Fable is interesting but I thought you could create your own character, I never ever play as a woman in RPGs so it's a problem for me, not really interested in the story they're trying to tell there going by trailers. But I'll play it.

Halo, not really my thing at all, I used to avoid Halo 1 like the plague back in the days. But I play COD now that it's there on the service so I'll play this too.

People at InXile have been dropping hints for months that the game is close to release... These aren't comments consistent with a game that's still more than a year away from release.

Regarding Fable, we'll have to see the January Xbox Digital Direct, but I find it hard to bet it's planned for early 2026.

The January Digital Direct will definitely clarify many Xbox releases for 2026.

I've said this before

Some of you are just professionally miserable

It's not even constructive criticism at this point, it's just negativity for the sake of negativity

You can't make constructive comment why something is shit when you don't like it. But i'll try:

1. Halo - Game design of halo simply is old and it's highlight features like using vehicles is standard part of gaming now. Masterchief story is done and there is nothing interesting there anymore. But the most important problem is that there is no one in their dev studio to sit on game for months just playing it with whole team until it is good. No one does developement like that anymore. It's fucking corpse at this point for quick release (some cash from nostalgia)

2. Gears - Even more atrophied franchise than Halo. The whole pop up to shoot mechanics was innovation like QTEs back when Gears 1 released since then they are just bad design same as QTEs. Chest high walls everywhere ? Same as halo, story is done, there is nothing more new interesting to tell. And dev team much like in halo doesn't spend extensively playing their own game for months because that's not how game dev works like now.

3. Fable. That's even more lol. Fable was interesting not because of it being RPG from MS but because it was made by Lionhead and designed by Molynelux. It was very quirky and weird rpg where as much work was put on some dog AI and ability to hold hands with people or making main character age than on rpg mechanics or everything else. The reason why it worked was because Molynelux was just fucking weird with his design ideas and interesting. Now it will be made by Playground guys who for one didn't make any RPGs in their life and their whole mojo is just regurgitating Forza Team cars to make out of them arcadish racing game. Their engine is pretty cool but that's all. The fact that game was announced in 2020 a whole 6 years ago and since then we barely have seen it should point you what is the state of the game. Turns out that making RPGs is fucking hard and bunch of yaahoos making car go brrr and spin wheels isn't speciality that makes good rpgs.

4. Forza Horizon. I am mainly fan of Forza Motorsport and that team shit the bed completely and now is gone. Forza Horizon problem is that over the years it just became shitty spin wheel game and there's nothing under it. You get best cars in minutes and that's it. That's recipe for people getting tired and that's what is happening to Horizon franchize. Last FH UK already was tiring for a lot of fans and mexico even more. That franchize only goes down and I don't see a way for it to recover because again, gameplay is not priority. Spin wheels and microtransactions are.

I have no faith in Fable not turning into a modern-day mess in terms of tone, story, writing, and characters. So my vote goes to Forza Horizon 6. At least we can be sure to expect great graphics and solid driving.

I'm looking forward to a nostalgia trip with Halo. That's about as positive as I am about that lineup. I'm not a racing guy so Forza does nothing for me. I have zero interest in Fable based on what they've shown. I want to be excited for Gears but I've struggled to get into it after the original trilogy ended.

Perfect Dark was THE game from Xbox Game Studios that I was looking forward to. It's dead now and thus so is any amount of hype I had for what that collection of studios is putting out.

The chance that Forza horizon 6 comes out in 2026 and is good is high.

The chance gears/fable come out in 2026 and are good is not so high.

Hao isnt getting cancelled you lunatic, its a remake.

Edit sorry misread you post, silly me.

Very hyped for Fable and Gears, and really looking forward to a freshed up Halo 1 campaign.
It's gonna be awesome.
Those three are definitly Day 1 games for me.
Forza is not my jam (I find cars very boring ), but I bet it will be a great game.

What are you on about?

You can absolutely trash something constructively if you hate it. Just explain why it's shit with specifics and how it could be fixed

Critics eviscerate movies/books/games they despise but back it up with evidence, not just "this sucks."

Like I said. Professionally miserable

You're preemptively shitting on games not out yet (Fable/FH6/E-Day all 2026), without playing them, based on dev grudges and vibes, not facts or gameplay.

Thank you for the perfect demonstration. Doomsaying unreleased games based on pure speculation and old grudges is exactly the pointless negativity I was talking about.

Point proven.

Fable is going to be delayed and I don't have much confidence the Halo remake will turn out okay given who's making it, but I think Gears has a shot at being good. If they mess it up the series is probably done, though.
