Alright, just got to Philly yesterday, and we're here for a whole MONTH! I have no idea what's cool to do around here, but we went to the King of Prussia mall yesterday, which was cool I guess (for a mall).

Any Philly locals here wanna pass on some knowledge? The only things off the top of my head I really wanna check out is a Phillies game, the Dali exhibit, the downtown area, and maybe Six Flags or a water park while I'm here (if they're even open yet -- I wanna compare 'em to their Texas counterparts).

Also, what are the best places for food? I want a real Philly cheesesteak sandwich, not that shit we have in Texas.

I was in philly 4 years ago for work. it really sucked for the most part, though there was this one corner convenience store or something that had chips and sodas and snacks and whatnot.. right on a corner on a main street between philly and lester. anyway, this place had THE BEST CHEESESTEAK I have ever had.. a complete dive and you sat on stools or something at dirty counters, but my coworker and I ate there like 4 out of 7 meals or something. absolutely delicious.

If you want a real philly cheese steak got to either Pat's , Gino's, or Jim's which is on South Street. If you want a good Gentlemans club go to Day Dreams. (BYOB all nude) :D Way better than Show & Tell (same concept except you have to walk through an isle of female sex toys. :lol )

Like they stated earlier, make sure you get yourself a cheese steak from Pat's or Geno's or both. You'll never have a better one anywhere. You should also take some time to sample some of our other good food like soft pretzels, italian water ice, and tastycakes.

As for the Dali exhibit, I would hurry. I believe its going to be ended soon and its been selling out everyday for a while. You might want to make a whole day of it though, there is a lot of good art to see besides the exhibit. Here's a tip too, on sundays its pay as much as you want. Perfect way to save some cash. By the way, if its your first time there you are required to the Rocky run. Don't worry about looking like a jackass, everyone has done it a least once. :lol

I would also suggest the Rodin museum if you're into scuplture. It also on the parkway so its real close to the art muesum.

Don't foget about Independance Hall and the Liberty Bell. It was pretty nice to see them.

Go to a Phillies game. The ballpark is awesome even if the team sucks. :lol

If you need to see a movie while your here I recommend the Bridge at UPenn. Its a pretty neat theater. Its at 40th and Walnut and you can get there by taking the Market-Frankford west to 40th street then walk south a few block to walnut st. if you don't have a car.

Just so you know, numbered streets are North-South and East- West usually have names.

I'd visit South Street while you are here too. Its just a bunch of cool little shops.

Even if you're not religious, the cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul is an awesome building, and worth a look.
