The first got me good and I'll throw it on occasionally, while the second is what reminds me so much of the whole package, the music and gameplay merging together in what makes the medium so special at times. Just the perfect culmination of the journey and revelations. It honestly stuns me that Yoko Taro hasn't had another big game since then. What a waste. Hopefully he's got something cooking.

Shadowbringers, written by Soken while battling cancer might have been his swan song of saying fuck you to cancer and leaving the world with this gem, but he beat it! Now we have a crescendo of a chef's kiss that was the Act IV highlight showing the FF14 universe the warrior of light was taking the reigns of destiny from the Ascians and handling business. My god what an expansion pack!

Looking through the list, I noticed that we somehow modestly touched upon SE, in addition to the quite obvious FF and KH and naturally NieR, they also had other games. Therefore, I decided to add a little from myself, for variety in the portfolio

So I was blasting through all of FFXIV from ARR to ShB during the ronies.
And I get into ShB, and experience that scene (iykyk) near the beginning of the expansion then finally get to the hub and that's cool. Wander around a bit and, yup it's a Soken hub theme. Cool cool.
So I do a few missions and trigger
the return of nighttime
Get back in the hub, after having seen some shit, and I'm wandering around, and I'm like huh the music seems a bit different, then out of nowhere this banger:

here to lift us that we won’t end
