Those dogs always look so scared to me. I'm not a small dog guy though.
That dog probably was actually scared, it was really crowded at the renaissance festival, and it had me, a 6'4" oaf pointing a camera at it. I do agree that some chihuahuas do tend to just look that way though.

That is some next level cuteness, those cute ears. A long time ago I wanted that breed but read that they are active dogs and were made for hunting rabbits. I love this thread.

I hope this doesn't come off as weird, but I was scrolling through this thread hoping you posted. I remember you posting about this dog like a year or so ago, and I died because I am obsessed with Shiba Inus.

Springer spaniel.
They're fairly high maintenance..need to be brushed constantly..shed like crazy and that fine hair gets everywhere.
My last 2 had some medical issues, one had epilepsy and the other had fucked up ears, blood vessels would burst easily for some reason. Every 1-2 years it would burst and her ear would blow up like a balloon, had to get it drained stitched up again.
Lovely dogs though, was difficult going swimming in the pool as whenever anyone went underwater they'd go nuts thinking you're drowning and try and jump in to save you.

Oh okay. It looks a bit similar to my parent's german wire-haired pointer when it was a pup. Here's a picture of one (my parent's had darker hair though) I found on google:
They are both hunting dogs so that could explain the resemblance.
