My latest customer service battle (Dell)

My Dell Inspiron 8600's sound card has failed me. Again. For the third time. I purchased the warranty when I purchased this comp in 02/2003, but now Dell is arguing with me over it. The warranty clearly states that when the same problem occurs for the third time; that I have the option of having my whole computer replaced. I don't know why they sold me the warranty if they aren't going to live up to their end of the agreement. I am currently talking with the english-impaired Indian customer service tech. More updates as they come......

Demand to be transfered to US customer service NOW. They will transfer you to a real american/canadian person who speaks english. Those are the people you need to get a hold of to help you. Not some 5 cent a hour indian (no offense)

Be a little angry you have the right to be. Its the third time this shit has happened. Whoop some ass and get on the ball boy. You getting a new DELL

Now they are telling me that the "exchange" warranty applies only to the first 21 days of ownership. Fuckers....

The customer is always right. Demand to talk to your CSR's manager, or be transfered to advanced warranty department (just another name for US warranty service care, i think) Complain enough say your willing to pay for shipping if they would just give you a new Laptop and see what happens.

DONT TAKE SHIT FROM THEM.

What the hell? For that to ever happen, you'd have to ship it out on Monday and get it back on Friday, then have the part die again over the weekend. If your shipment ever crossed a weekend boundary (i.e. out on Wednesday) it'd be impossible. I think he's feeding you bull.
