For those who have been following my wild summer trip to Texas and Miami Beach, Florida

Hey! I survived and I will have a new home soon.

I interviewed for a new Artist Loft Building back home in Connecticut and got in!!



the Loft space will be ready in December, so I still have time to get into plenty of trouble

I will finally have enough space to paint fulltime. IT SUCKED BEING HOMELESS!

Congratualtions BTW - looks sweet. I heard it's quite cheap there compared to say...NYC. My ex-GF just moved to CT from NYC to go to Yale and is renting a place. She told me it was quite cheap.

Yeah it is cheap but stay away from Stamford, CT the prices there nears NYC levels

I don't know how many square-feet your loft is, but I'm willing to bet it'll be 1/2 or 1/3 the cost out here in SF.

I think my space 1,200 square feet from the papers I saw.
all the spaces range in size from 1,100 to 1,600 feet
(1 bedroom spaces, 2 bedrooms, and 3 bedrooms)

I chose a 1 bedroom.

This place is being funded to create affordable live/work spaces for a new artists communty from many different fields of Art.

So I only have to pay 25% of the rent $300 per month... If I had to pay full price the space would be $1,200 per month not cheap for me but very cheap for NYC area lofts

How does that compare with other areas?

my space will be back there on the 4th floor
